Austin Barbour of Cochran campaign started the conference call, after a few minutes of talking about working with McDaniel volunteers in the Hinds County(Jackson) courthouse reviewing ballots The call then continued as various people engaged about whether the man who interrupted the call was a Cochran plant or “maybe Obama” . Then a caller referred to African American voter as "cotton pickers for Cochran, They darkly noted that whoever asked the question “wasn’t doing McDaniel no favors” and suggested that it was part of a plot to get the national media to say that McDaniel supporters think African Americans are “cotton-pickers.” Another woman on the call was confused about the harvesting cotton reference, after all she was a 36-year-old white female who had harvested cotton too. We're back in the Wine Cellar with Phenie The Uppity Negress and Father Teresa, The Greatest Black Atheist.
Considering that we have no cotton to pick, we'll just have to sit around shiftless and podcasting.
We'll be rebutting some rhetoric about the ography film industry.
I'll be throwing in a quick thought I had on differentiating feminism and womanism.
This is the democracy of ideas, so we'll take topic suggestions.
And here is my personal page...
Tonight at 8pm ET on Ernest Radio Network, it's The Ernest Experience Radio Show.
Ernest is joined by his bevy of beauties, including Ms. Teri, and Momo B., to talk about a few things. First up, Toni Braxton recently said her son as autism because God punished her for having an abortion in the past. We think that's bull, but what do you think?
Also, workers at a cotton gin in Tennessee are complaining about the owners being racist (it's pretty bad). Ms. Teri leads the conversation on this one.
Also, no listening lounge tonight, but we do have NPR news at the top of both hours, weather.com 3-day forecast at the top of the 2nd hour, and great music from Toni Braxton throughout the show. The phones will be open at 1.347.989.1942.

Jews played a significant role in the slave trade in the United States. The Nation of Islam uncovered documents showing Jews built massive cotton marketing businesses, owning thousands of acres of plantations. Indeed, much of the slave-picked cotton produced in the Mississippi Delta region was marketed internationally by Jewish merchants. Indisputably, Blacks picked the cotton. Jews simultaneously established their dominance in the needle trades or textiles industry, the banking industry, as well as a significant—even if little known—role in the formation of labor unions, which allowed them to exercise control over jobs and contracts.
As a matter of fact, two great books detailing the Jewish involvement in slavery in the U.S., was written and published by the Nation of Islam, under the leadership of the Great Minister Louis Farrakhan. Per the FinalCall.com "Published in 1991, The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Volume One, set off ideological tremors resulting in denunciations, and chaotic scrambles into the archives of Jewish historical literature by those hoping to debunk its claims. They were unsuccessful, and quietly, the assertions that Jews were merely co-sufferers or innocent bystanders in the trans-Atlantic slave trade have been silenced. The Nation of Islam's Historical Research Department has followed up with the highly anticipated Volume 2 in a series of scholarly volumes, this one under the subtitle How Jews Gained Control of the Black American Economy."

Join us this week on The Joshua Generation as we discuss the outlook for the future of Black America and some of the challenges we will face long after President Obama is out of office. With the clock ticking on his second and last term, where do Black people stand now? Are we better off, worse off, the same, or does anyone really care? What has Bible history to do with Black America and what is the meaning of the Savior's words "The Thief Cometh Not But for to Steal, Kill and Destroy?" - John 10:10
On Saturday last, I was invited to a ceremonial chuch service called the "7 Ups." It was a beautiful program implemented and hosted by a long-time sister-friend who is a pastor at the church she serves. She told me how God gave her this revelation during a moment of prayer and quiet reflection. It contained several scriptural principles: Tighten UP, Step UP, Pray UP, Speak UP, Look UP, Break UP, and Dress UP. Seven speakers were invited, but it happened that one did not show. Even as she introduced "Sister Add On" and substituted for the no-show, I knew that role was my own. After I told her I could have spoke up on that topic for days, she admitted that she started to invite me, but didn't want to put me on the spot at the last minute. I did not SPEAK UP because I feared overstepping my boundaries and did not want to infringe on a planned program or church protocol. Tonight, I will read from an article on Urban Intellectuals named "Cotton Be Gone!" as an encouragement to Black America to Look UP! for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28), to look up to the hills from whence cometh our help (Ps. 121).
