C.D. - Sheeee's Heeeerre: The "Coronation" of Hillary Rodam Clinton

    in Elections

Well, as long anticipated, "Queen" Hillary has thrown her hat in the 2016 presidential race.

Denied in 2008, from what she saw as her entitlement, Clinton will try to make history, by becoming the first woman president of the United States.

Anyone who saw or heard of her video-launch, cannot deny the extent of her agenda, which clearly is diametrically opposed to the Law and dictates of God.

It will be interesting to see if other democrats can overcome the intimidation and badgering, and themselves, enter the race; we already see on the GOP side, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush and Chris Christie, who've either officially announced or strongly hinted at running.

But back to Hillary, for certain, she will be forced (if the liberal press is not successful in running interference for her) to finally and honestly address Benghazi and the e-mail scandal.

It will also be interesting to see if the black community demonstrates the same type of religious-like devotion to Mrs. Clinton, as they did and do, with Barack Obama.

While those who profess adherence to scripturally-inspired religion, finally assess the issues discussed, through the Books they follow?

Will we once again, be inundated with proclamations of her being "blessed" or "sent"?

Will we once again, be subject to numerous "explanations" and rationalizations as to what was, is and will be expressed by Clinton; that somehow, "she really didn't mean what she said"?

In other words, will the people assess, dissect, reflect and analyze the statements, positions and opinions, obvious or subtle, in 2016, unlike 2008?

To some, many, the above commentary is strongly worded and stinging, but others will see their necessity, in this critical day and time.

The 2016 Election: A Clown Car Or A Coronation?

    in Politics Progressive

The media is excited about the 2016 election: A day doesn't go by without a breathless report about the possible candidacies of Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and other Republicans. But what about the Democrats? Hillary Clinton is all but coronated as the nominee, with many progressives trying to draft Elizabeth Warren (who says she's not running) and only Bernie Sanders talking seriously about opposing her. MOMocrats Cynthia Liu and Donna Schwartz Mills both feel an uncontested primary is bad for the party and the country -- but for very different reasons. Also: a report on ESEA, the reauthorization of the law formerly known as No Child Left Behind Political discussion from the progressive point of view by the MOMocrats. Scottscope Talk Radio 3/21/2015: The Coronation of King Kendrick!

    in Entertainment

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, the roundtable reviews Kendrick Lamar’s third album, ‘To Pimp a Butterfly.’  Is it the album of the year?  Has Kendrick set an impossibly high bar that his peers can never hope to reach?  Is it a genre bending masterpiece, or is it woefully overrated?  Are people judging the album based solely on its own merits?  Does the largely positive response to this album signal a new direction for mainstream rap music?  Why do people insist on drawing comparisons between K-Dot and Drake?

We’ll also be having yet another of our penchant freestyle sessions!  Any and every topic will be up for debate and discussion.  Is Damon Dash a misunderstood visionary, or a snake oil selling windbag?  Have we truly seen the last of Suge Knight?  Will the live-action Attack on Titan films be as good as either the manga or the anime?  Are superhero comics hopelessly sexist and misogynistic?  How many of the aforementioned topics will we be able to discuss in the space of 120 minutes?  Tune in to find out!

    A King's Coronation and You (1 Samuel 12)

    in Christianity

The subject at the Coronation of King Saul was mostly that the nation had rejected God as their King.

1 Samuel 12:20-25New King James Version (NKJV)

20 Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. 21 And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. 22 For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people. 23 Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. 24 Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. 25 But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

What we've learned through four games of the West Finals

    in Basketball

Four games of the Western Conference Finals are in the books, and the Warriors lead the Rockets by a 3-1 margin. That overall mark may not seem surprising, but the route the series has taken to get there has been a bit bizarre.

For two games, the teams appeared almost evenly matched, with Stephen Curry and James Harden — the league’s top two finishers in MVP voting — trading blow for blow in two games that went down to the wire in Oakland.

Then in Game 3, the Warriors absolutely blew the doors off of Houston, grabbing a commanding 3-0 series lead by virtue of a 35-point beatdown in Toyota Center.

But the Game 4 that many predicted would be Golden State’s title coronation for the Western Conference? Instead, the Rockets climbed off the mat in stunning fashion, racing out to a record-setting 45-point first quarter and cruising to a 128-115 victory to extend the series. The Rockets, now 4-0 against elimination in these playoffs, became just the second team in NBA history to win four straight elimination games by double digits in the same postseason.

Ben DuBose of Sheridan Hoops is joined by Josh Reese of CBS Radio in Houston to break it all down.

    TOPICS EXPLORED:

Just how historically great have Curry and Harden been?
How scary was Curry's Game 4 injury scare?[/
Was not suspending Dwight Howard for his Game 4 elbow the right call?
Did Klay Thompson find himself during Curry’s brief Game 4 absence?
Who is the X-factor for the Rockets after Harden and Howard?
Does Steve Kerr need to make any significant adjustment for the Warriors?
    Who wins Game 5?

FREEDOM'S GATE: Defeating Hillary’s liberal election machine

    in Politics Conservative

With no real democrat challengers on the horizon, Clinton can simply refuel her campaign retread speeches from the 2008 cycle and unleash her new image on the American voting public. Can and will conservatives rise to the occasion and prevent Hillary from attaining her much sought after planned presidential coronation?

Are Americans going to be treated to a Barack Obama and Bill Clinton combined third term? Will America’s conservative religious values be allowed to wither and die? Fortunately there are several effective political weapons in the arsenal of conservatives to help slow Hillary’s roll.

The Conservative Campaign Committee is one of potent weapons and the other is the Tea Party and its young leaders.

Join Selena Owens Vice Chair of the Conservative Campaign Committee and Mariah Tiffany Boland a District Coordinator for Convention of States and Coordinator at Tea Teams USA to discuss how conservative candidates can win and take back the White House in 2016 on Standing at Freedom’s Gate.

"The Issachar Anointing" - Pt. 4 Leaders in Worship

    in Religion

Being located next to the Tribe of Judah (Yah be praised) caused the spirit of praise and worship to permeate this tribe.  They were also located right in front of the Tabernacle entrance.  All day they observed the Israelites coming with their sacrifices for the "God Who Dwelled Among Them".

Issachar is listed in Numbers 7, right after Judah, in the roll of tribes who brought offerings the day that Moses erected the Tabernacle in the wilderness.  They are listed as being in attendance at David's coronation.  When Hezekiah reinstituted the Passover, they were in attendance.

The characteristic that strikes me today is their FAITHFULNESS.  Whatever God was doing, they were in on it.

A good quality to cultivate in our times.

For now, this is the concluding broadcast on the "Issachar Anointing".
