Live: The Midnight Lover Bro Blue-Sultery,Slow & Easy Music for Your lover& You Lyrically, "When a Man Loves a Woman" covers the full range of sentiments about love and the human condition, in just under three minutes. Love hurts. Only love can break your heart. It's a thin line between love and hate. Love stinks. Love is like a heatwave. Love is like oxygen. My world is empty without you. Love to love you baby. When you look in the dictionary under "L" for love song, Sledge's timeless classic ballad could be the only definition. — Bruce Warren,
"Enjoy The Silence" could be interpreted as sulky, complaining that words only screw things up in a relationship. But I like to think that it's more about finding someone whose company you can enjoy without needing to chatter. It's like what Mia Wallace says in Pulp Fiction: "That's when you know you've found somebody really special: you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably share silence." — Maura Hehir
Is there any better intro to a song in all of soul music? Those Willie Mitchell-produced strings, punctuating horns, and seductive whispers that make up the first ten seconds of "Let's Stay Together" perfectly set the table (or is it the bed?) for what evolves into not only the definitive Al Green song but one of the sexiest love songs of all time. — Dan Wilcoxal green
.Does this feel familiar - "What Have I Done. I've finally found the perfect person for me, and I had to go and screw it up. Damn It!!!"

Would You Want Your Lover To Confess He Cheated On You Or Naw ?
Yo wasup and welcome to another episode of Rockafellaz Radio.
Today we will be on the topic of Display of Public Affection. Now we know in the straight community this is something that is seen often. But when it comes to the gay community, its a whole different ball game. Why is it so hard for some to be affectionate with their lover or spouse in public? Not saying there has to be aggressive affection, but what of holding hands or a small kiss.
Then there are those that dont like to be in public at all with their lover or spouse. Yes it happens. Ever want to go out somewhere with you boyfriend, like the movies or out to eat? Then he comes up with some excuse as to why he doesn't want to go, when the real truth is he is either, ashamed, embarrassed or afraid to be seen in public with another guy. Or is it because you are too feminne.
I would like you all to discuss with me some of your stories while we talk about todays topic.

Wife, mother, semi-professional cat-herder, and lover of shiny things, Lexy Wolfe is the author of the highly acclaimed epic fantasy novels of The Sundered Lands Saga. After her time in the Army as a Russian linguist was cut short due to injuries, she has continued a tradition of serving as a translator, now between technical and business folks.
Lexy enjoys learning as much about everything, with a special love of all fields of science. Unfortunately, she never could decide on a single field of study to focus on. Having to set aside a childhood dream, inspired by Carl Sagan, of becoming an astronaut and traveling to other worlds, she now weaves vivid worlds and vibrant characters into intricate stories.

Grammy Award Winner, Howard Hewett has been one of the most influential and consistent voices of the past three decades. Whether in a group setting, a guest vocalist or as a solo artist, Hewett's recognizable and virtually irresistible voice has wrapped itself around an array of musical moments; turning good songs into great records and great records into lifetime standards. Howard began his musical roots in Akron, Ohio at the age of 10. In 1976, he relocated to Los Angeles.
Howard later became the lead singer and third member of Shalamar with Jeffrey Daniels and Jody Watley. Shalamar graced the charts with hit after hit; such as, “A Night to Remember,” “For the Lover in You,” “Make that Move” and "Second Time Around."
Hewett departed for a solo career in 1985. He signed with Elektra, debuting his first single "I'm for Real." Hewett also co- wrote and produced his inspirational composition "Say Amen,” which remains one of his signature songs.
Howard also participated in major motion picture soundtracks; such as Foot Loose, The Five Heartbeats and Beverly Hills Cop; which he received a Grammy for “Don’t Get Stopped in Beverly Hills.”
He also cut duets with many legendary female recording artists who are no strangers to topping the charts; Dionne Warwick, Anita Baker, Stacy Latisaw, Roberta Flack, and Tina Marie.
He continues to hone his craft, as he is consistently writing, producing and performing; appearing on projects with the late George Duke, as well as Stanley Clarke, Brian Culbertson, Joe Sample, Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum and many others.
We talk about Agendas a lot on our show and so at this point it is very apt to ask the good ol' question, "What do you have to offer?"
As a lady in a new relationship, what do you bring to the table? Do you have a degree, job, good healthy body, and can you cook???
Now let's ask the question in another way, "What are you looking for in a 'potential' lover/hubby? Status, fat bank account, awesome position in a Fortune 500 company, a God fearing man?
Now you Brothers, do not get too excited I am only asking the ladies these questions, same boat coming your way!!!!!
So join us thi Thursday at 10pm Central USA Time as we swap tales.....
We all could learn a thing or 2 ????

Tracie Nichols discusses the magical union of Humans and Earth as Lovers
There is an ancient and sacred partnership among humans and the earth. It goes beyond any culture, any form of spirituality, or any paradigm.
This union forges a bone-deep intimacy. The power of the land opens like a lover when we call. We rise to the call of the land, arching womb (or belly) to womb with her, ripening with potent wisdom.
Learn how your body carries the imprint of this magical union, even if your mind has forgotten its existence. An “instruction manual” of body and sense memories is inscribed deep in your cells, striped through your musculature, humming in your energy body. It is a fierce legacy, this wild wisdom.
Let this “instruction manual” open you into creatively meeting your life. Let it show you how to tap into fertility, resilience, and courage. Let it encourage you to stand powerfully in your sacred self. See what healing takes place in your life as a result of using incorporating these ideas.
The earth is asking us to decode that bone-deep wisdom now. To remember how to listen to the magic that sings between earth and human. She’s inviting us to unlock our voices and add them to the global and universal song...to co-create thriving. We can’t live without this cooperative relationship with the planet. Sisters and brothers, it’s time.
Tracie Nichols, M.A. happily invites women to create lives of wild, fierce, sacred, joy! A thriving survivor of abuse trained in Transformative Learning, Tracie is a well-loved facilitator, writer, speaker, nature mystic and alchemist inviting sister survivors into heartfelt conversations about self-love, empowerment, and restoring our life-changing relationship with nature.
