We will discuss how to recognize, and prevent, complacency from de-railing the mediation process and impeding a successful outcome.
As usual, we will also discuss two delicious recipes for sharing. The "safe" recipe will be Vegetable Stir Fry, and the "adventure" recipe will be Ham and Sausage Loaf.
The dictionary defines complacency as being satisfied with yourself. Some definitions also elude to the blindspots associated with it and the danger is poses to your leadership. The conversation today will examine why I believe from a leadership perspective, standing up to complacency is as important as standing up for your life. If persecution has been your lot, you are not alone. Many all over the globe suffer persecution, even unto death. Yet, in the Western Hemisphere, it has indeed begun.
If you have been urging people (including believers) to repent, to turn from sin, compromise, complacency, apostacy, then you have likely already experienced persecution.
If you have been warning people of the signs all around us, and the horrific tribulation that is coming, and about the judgment of God that HAS begun (some time ago) and is becoming more severe, you have likely already experienced persecution.
Tribulation is nigh upon us. The Lord has grieved...now He has risen up from His throne in righteous anger.
There is very little left that has not been corrupted and the stench of vile sins has reached the nostrils of a holy and righteous God, an Omnipotent King who calls forth justice and judgment.
Just as the Lord said back on November 7, 2012... Now It Begins
You are not alone in experiencing a great divide, persecution, trials, heartache and anguish, but the Lord has not forsaken us...neither does He want His people to fear what is coming.
O our God, will You not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that comes against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. [2Chron 20:12] If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now My eyes shall be open, and My ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. [2Chr 7:14,15]
A state of emergency exists in our community. So many of us have not been attentitive to the situation, or we have been lulled into a sense of complacency by the media, social and traditional. Too many of the civil rights organizations are unable to make the transition from civil to economic rights. Though they are no longer at the forefront of the struggle, they still hold the microphone and have failed to sound the alarm.
As we slide into the abyss, our watchers are asleep at the wheel. What must be done to salvage a victory from our dire plight?
PAY ATTENTION, FAST, WATCH, PRAY and GET BUSY.

Fire in the Bones of the Body - the Heart Cry of the Bride
Tonight Sunday, September 15 at 10:00 pm EST (9:00 pm Central / 8 pm MTN / 7:00 pm PST)
There’s a stirring – there is something going on within the Body of Christ; the Bride is crying out. The words of God’s people are similar; the anticipation undeniable. People often dismiss any emotion from Yhwh, Almighty God, He who said, I AM that I AM.
Yet His word is filled with plenty of examples of His emotions, from being pleased and delighted to being grieved and filled with anger and wrath – not to mention both His love and His hatred.
Those who are His and who have been abiding are becoming keenly aware of all that is in the heart of the Creator, the holy living God. This word is an exhortation and a comfort; there will be words that seem hard to take, as meat, but there will also be words that reveal the love of Jesus Christ (Y’shua Ha Mashiach), for God is love.
Choices remain ours, but the hour has come and is upon us, to choose whom we will serve. No compromise, no complacency, no lukewarmness. The Body of Christ has a fire burning in their bones, just as Jeremiah – the Bride is crying out to the Father; how she longs to be made ready. Where do you stand?
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom you will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. [Josh 24:15]
