    Communicating in truth

    in Spirituality

Even though I prepared myself for my life choices, that did not prepare me for when someone else does not understand how to use the scale in truth So I would like to talk about what truly decisions are vs choices and how standing in your internal truth is the secret to the successful and happy life that you are all looking for.

The problem in how we communicate is that we interchange a lot of words and phrases and that then leads us to feel we are truly communicating with someone else. It is a very scary thing to think that we are talking with people all day long and yet how much is truly being shared in the truth of ones internal walk to be successful and happy? I am finding that it is a true miracle.

    in Self Help

However, most of our relationships are strained because of something that is overlooked in most of our conversations; the ability to listen! How often have you had a disagreement with someone, and the first thing you said to yourself was, "They just don't listen to me".

We have put more value in talking and being heard, than listening and truly understanding. In this episode, we will discuss "The Value Of Listening". This art is widely referred to as "Active Listening", and is a very overlooked aspect of communicating.

We will take a look at how listening effectively can enhance many a relationship, albeit personal or professional. It shows respect, builds relationships, and is a great way to help others, as well as yourself.

Call in LIVE at (646)595-3015 to join the discussion with your questions and/or comments. As always it is our hope that we leave you enriched, inspired, and empowered.

Daughters of Yishra'Al: How to pray effectively?

    in Religion

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much," James 5:16.  When Yaakov / James wrote this, what did he mean by prayer being effectual and fervent.  Do we pray in this manner?  In Judaism, there is a prayer that says, 'May our prayer come to you in an opportune time..." What is an opportune prayer for our prayers to come before the Father?

We will look at three areas where we can make our prayers more effective.  Remember that prayer is a weapon, and we must learn to become skillful in weilding this weapon.

2 Cor. 10:4 "For the weapons of our WARFARE  are not carnal....

    THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:

Do you communicate with clarity and confidence, when you pick up the telephone? Are you routinely asked to repeat what you are asking? How long does it take for you to write down your thoughts or compose an important message? How confident are you that others are able to understand you when you speak? Many of us are unable to communicate with clarity and confidence even though we have outstanding business and life skills. Whether it’s telling a good story, writing a winning proposal or explaining to your teenager why life requires a series of good decisions, your ability to communicate with confidence and clarity plays an important role in your level of success. The good thing is that both written and verbal communications skills can be developed and improved. The key is learning how you can consistently communicate with confidence.
