On Tonight’s Show we will be Interviewing Ms. Collette Flannagan the mother of Clinton Allen who is Speaking Out about her Son Killed by Dallas Police Officer Clark Staller March 10, 2013.
It is alleged that after tasing Clinton Allen twice according to Dallas Police officer Clark Staller, Clinton still had the strength to choke Officer Staller causing him to fear for his life. In turn, Clark Staller opened fire shooting the unarmed Clinton Allen not once, not twice but seven times killing him the night of March 10, 2013.
It's reported that Clark Staller has only been with the Dallas Police Department since 2008 and already has a troubled history within the force. In January 2011, Staller ran over a burglary suspect, lied about it and falsified the police report. Staller justified this use of force by saying, "suspects lie all the time," as quoted by the Dallas Morning News. This footage was later caught on his dashboard camera. A high ranking official at that time called his actions, "very disturbing", yet, Staller was allowed after a slight 20 day suspension to return to his job.
Clark Staller, armed with a history of using excessive force, lying and falsifying an official police report was returned to the streets of Dallas only five days after Clinton Allen was killed with another gun and with pay. According to the Clinton Allen’s family, they were told that filing a complaint against Clark Staller had to wait until after the Internal Affairs and Crimes Against Persons complete their investigations,a process the Clinton Allen family were told could take months. The Allen Family is fighting to have Clark Staller, badge #9514, removed from active duty until the investigation into the death of Clinton Allen is completed.
Let's Talk All On The Ash & Bates Show
M.M.A.R.S. is at it again talking all things MMA for all you fight fans! We tackle a nagging question I have had for a while now; Has MMA reached it's peak in North AMerica? Is this as big as MMA can get or with the expansion to more countries by the UFC make it grow even more?
We talk with Dustin Jacoby who made an improbable run at Road to Glory USA after joining the tournament on less than 48 hours notice. He walked through it and now has a rematch with Brian Collette at Glory 9 on June 22nd in New York, New York.
We then talk with Cortez Coleman. The fighter who refused to share the same fate at his three brothers used MMA as a tool to get ahead in life and so far so good. He has an interesting match-up, by intersting I mean fireworks, against gritty tough Keith Berry at Bellator 96 on June 19th in Oklahoma.
The show finishes off with a recap and a UFC fight analysis, breakdown, and predictions. Will Hendo land an H-bomb or does Evans grapple his way to unanimous decision? We break it down so you don't have to here on PLANET M.M.A.R.S.!!!
Michael Lutz came face-to-face with the Bible for the first time in 1994, at age 24. He began reading a Bible and was overwhelmed with a sense of the deity of Jesus. It was then and there that he knew he had to make a choice: either Jesus was who He said He was or He wasn't. Michael's ministry began right away at a church in Connecticut. He began helping with the youth, and later became their youth pastor. He and his wife moved to California in 2001, where he was asked to be a Pastor's Assistant at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. He has held a variety of pastoral positions, and in 2008 became Senior Pastor of Revive Christian Fellowship in Ladera Ranch, CA. Mike is now heard on "The Reviving Word" radio program in the US and in Belize. He lives in California with his wife, Collette.

Thomas Haden Church joins host Robin Milling at the Tribeca Film Festival to talk about his film, Whitewash. Thomas, who spends most of his time in balmy Texas, says it was shocking to endure below freezing cold temperatures in the snowy mountains of Montreal. In fact traveling to locations were so remote only snowmobiles could get there. And if the blizzardy conditions weren't dangerous enough, Thomas tells Robin he got frostbite from pelting ice thrown at him from eight-foot turbine fans at 60 miles an hour! Church even considered camping out in the ice cave his character fashions for shelter but the budgetary requirements for looking after him would have been too steep.
Church who now spends most of his time on his ranch in Texas makes movies almost as a side job. His next film is Lucky Them co-starring Toni Collette who is on a quest to search for her long lost rock star boyfriend played by Johnny Depp. Thomas who plays her friend documenting the adventure was courted by Paul Newman for the role. He tells Robin the story of how he received a package from Newman after returning home from shooting Spiderman 3. Enclosed was the script and a letter asking him to star in the film saying he was a Sideways fan. When Paul passed another letter came from Joanne Woodward asking him to stay on the project. Sadly he says he never got the opportunity to meet with Newman, but has their two letters framed together as a memento.
Director P.J. Hogan joins host Robin Milling to talk about his new film Mental. It's a story that is so fantastic you can't make it up. P.J. tells Robin everything that happens in the film happened to him at 12, when his philandering father, up for re-election as mayor, picked up a hitchhiker named Shaz, played by Toni Collette to watch over his wild brood while his mom was 'on holiday' in a mental institution.
Telling stories from his life is not new to the Australian filmmaker whose debut film Muriel's Wedding was all about his sister. P.J. says Mental is a comedy because laughter is the best medicine when you come from crazy. He tells Robin, 'As far as mental goes I'm in the trenches with it because my sister is schizophrenic, my brother is bipolar and I'm the father of two autistic children. So I live with it every day and that's why I made the film a comedy.'
P.J. hopes that underneath the laughs there is a serious message that will come across about how to deal with mental illness whether or not it's personal to you and to re-examine what is normal.
