A show dedicated to "True Life Experiences." The Life & Motivation of Michael & Denny Jenkins, often dubbed “The Earth, Wind, & Fire of Gospel”, the driving force behind Spirit 2 Spirit are two brothers, Michael and Denny Jenkins. Together the two have over 50 years of musical experience. Michael plays bass, keyboards, and percussion. He has done lead and background vocals. He is a truly blessed lyrical writer, arranger personified, and a technical engineer, whose creativity in digital recording, editing, and mastering is unequaled. His ability to get the best out of an individual (not limited to musical or vocal artists) permits him to meet the challenge all producers and writers face in creating a viable product to be loved and cherished by the general public, as well as revered and respected by those in the industry. Denny, by design, is a percussionist who uses the keyboards to enhance his song writing ability. His strength lies in his lyric writing, and arrangements, and he sings lead and background vocals. The brothers have a musical background wherein their father, the late Thomas Jenkins helped form, manage, and sing for the Gospel Quartet #THEMIGHTYSOUTHERNECHOES, of Washington D.C. The group’s name was retired in 1999 by Mr. Thomas Jenkins, Co-Founder, after 48 years of praising our Lord God in music and in faith. Michael and Denny were also blessed with the opportunity to play with their father‘s group a couple of years before it’s retirement, and decided to continue their father’s legacy through the group “SPIRIT 2 SPIRIT”.

Rev. Dr. Charley Hames, Jr. is the senior pastor of the historic Beebe Memorial Cathedral (BMC) in Oakland, CA. His first book, Pressing Reset: When Life Forces You to Start Over Again, will be released in Winter 2015 by Spirit Driven Publishing.
Dr. Hames has a tremendous passion for God’s word, coupled with a love for God’s people. He has a contagious spirit of generosity that overflows throughout every facet of his ministry. Yet even though his pastoral experiences and ability to lead have netted successful churches, changed lives and powerful testimonies, Dr. Hames has also experienced his own dark moments – moments when he felt God wasn’t there. That was until Dr. Hames pressed reset.
Bill Jenkins is a senior pastor who has served in full-time ministry for over 28 years, renowned conference speaker, life coach and an award winning author. He has been recognized by the mayor of Indianapolis as a Community Service Leader and by the Minority Business Men as a "Man Of Distinction". He has been featured in Charisma and other nationally know magazines and he has the longest running television program on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Pastor Bill Jenkins is a true man of God with a prophetic word for our nation.
When her father died, and her mother scrambled to find a "replacement" husband, Lisa Marie Jenkins received one message loud and clear by proxy-that she was "not as good as other people without a boyfriend, partner or husband." Raised in a traditional American household in the 1970s, the pinnacle of a woman's achievement was to be loved by a man. And so she married and lived the American dream-great house, two kids, accelerating career-and oh yes-a handsome husband. But when all was said and done, it wasn't enough. It didn't make her happy. And so she endured misery for years, until leaving and leaping into the arms of another man, and then another, and then another. Where was happily-ever-after? Why was life with a "prince" not at all the fairy tale? Why was being loved not enough?
Lisa Marie Jenkins ultimate discovered that it wasn't being loved by a man that created a happy and fulfilling life-it was being loved by oneself and made foremost above all others that led to the fairy tale life of dreams!

Silk is a highly celebrated, R&B quintet who has sold over 5 million records. The group still comprises the original members who debuted in 1992. These gentlemen are Timzo (Timothy Cameron), Jim (Jimmy Gates, Jr.), Big G (Gary Glenn), Lil G (Gary Jenkins) and John John (Johnathen Rasboro). Popular for baby-making ballads and New Jack Swing favorites, Silk is best known for their 1993 pop hit, “Freak Me.” Other hits include “If You”, “Meeting In My Bedroom”, “Girl U For Me”, “Lose Control”, “Hooked On You” and “Don’t Rush”. The group was discovered by Keith Sweat over 20 years ago yet they continue to enjoy longevity in the industry with six studio albums. Currently, Silk is delicately placing the finishing touches on their seventh studio LP while touring the world.
The group began its embryonic stage in the mid 80’s. Timzo, Jim and John John formed the singing group as the teenagers harmonized while working at McDonald’s. Shortly thereafter, Big G was joined. A then-gospel group, the four would get their big break singing church songs in their manager’s basement during a cookout. Already empowered with unique diamond-smooth harmonies, Silk went in search of a fifth voice and Gary “Lil G” Jenkins was joined to the group. Keith Sweat signed the group to his Keia label and helped to create Silk’s unmistakable sound.
Sweat co-wrote and produced most of the steamy, sexually suggestive songs for their debut album, Lose Control. Selling two million copies, the album spun three US R&B Top 10 hits, including ‘Freak Me’, which stayed at #1 on the chart for eight weeks and the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. Silk would go on to release their second album with an eponymous title giving us “I Can Go Deep”, “Hooked On You” and “Don’t Rush”.
