Listener dial-in number: (646) 595-3602 This week we are continuing our exploration of 3 spring essentials or rituals that I believe should be incorporated into your life wellness toolbox. I think they can be done anytime you feel a need for them but I recommend them quarterly. The first and our focus today is a physical detox. Despite the fact that our body has an excellent detoxification system, the standard American diet, or what Dr. Mark Furman calls the SAD diet often could use some re-figuration and a kick in the but for us to feel us best now. The second spring essential or ritual I recommend is an emotional detox. I detox emotionally on a daily basis but still at times have a need for a more rigorous process. This is a great time to assess your overall happiness meter. The third spring essential or ritual is to reflect on and refine your strategic life plan. Waking up excited and ready to act everyday on your Divine Inspired Life Purpose or Mission takes discipline and work. Sometimes we lose our way or get of track because life happens or our plans are not producing the results we expected. Taking an assessment every 90 days makes it easier to stay on track, excited and challenged by our plans and also ensures that we are on the road to living the life we want and not working someone else dream. This week we continue focusing on physical detoxing. Is your life stuck on autopilot or just stuck we can help with strategic life planning, eliminating limiting beliefs, personal branding. If well and just need support and accountability assistance we can deliver. If grieving or in recovery we can help you move forward with proven results. We provide simple, soul-delicious ideas, techniques, and solutions that will awaken your life, guide and resource your path to transformation, have you unstuck, resistance free, and moving forward in the creation of your best life now. I recently packed up everything I owned, stuffed it into my car and drove across the country to my new home, Los Angeles.
I was on the road away from the comforts of my own home for 6 days and 7 nights.
Being particular about my food and lifestyle, I knew I was going to have to be strategic and make sure I planned ahead so I did't have to compromise my health along the way.
Today I'm sharing my tips for staying healthy while you're traveling. If you have questions on this topic, feel free to post them to my facebook page and I'll answer them on the show! www.facebook.com/robinnshirley

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. Many people spend more time planning their vacation than their life.Your life plan should cover your vision and your personal, professional, and self-development priorities and goals. It doesn’t matter whether you are 20 or 65 a life plan is key to living your best life now with intention and purpose. Regard your life plan as a work in process. Don’t shoot for perfect—that day will never come. it is a living document. You will revise it as necessary, always fine-tuning, always tweaking. Realign your priorities as needed. Earlier in my life, my children were a high priority. Friends were a lower priority. Community service wasn’t even on the list. Now that has changed. This is natural. You have to adjust your priorities as circumstances change. Be flexible—while remaining true to your values. Review your life often. It is not a document you finish and then file away. The key to implementation is visibility. You must review your life plan on a regular basis. Revise your life plan quarterly. Plans are only useful if they are relevant. Your circumstances can change quickly. Your action plans must shift accordingly. That’s why I recommend getting away for a half-day to day-and-a-half on a quarterly basis. Use part of this time to review your life plan and revise it. We refer to this as the Reflect and Refine Stage of the 4r program. Call TransformativeLifeSolutions today at 888.848.7406.
Las Vegas is known as much for its marquee hotels and casinos as it is for hotels within other hotels. Nobu at Caesars Palace, Four Seasons inside Mandalay Bay, the special hotel compound floors of the Aria and MGM Grand Las Vegas, and Hotel 32, located on the 32nd floor of the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino- Las Vegas. And that’s where this week's Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from, Hotel 32.
We’ll talk with veteran concierge to the stars, otherwise known as Stephen Gruner, about some of his outrageous Vegas guests. And we hear from former White House correspondent and current Vegas transplant, Rich Johnson, who takes us off the strip to some places you won’t find in the brochures or guidebooks. All that and more from Hotel 32.
Terranea Resort is located on the beautiful Palos Verdes Pennisula just south of Los Angeles. It’s known as LA’s premier oceanfront resort and the second you enter the property, you see exactly why it got this designation.
This week Peter Greenberg will broadcast from Terranea, which is celebrating its 5th anniversary. Located on the exact site that used to be home to Marineland, a theme park Peter himself remembers visiting fondly as a young boy, Terranea not only offers new and exciting things to do, but has an amazing history.
Peter is joined by Allan Franz, an anthropologist and professor working with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy who tells Peter all about the local history, including what famous show was shot right off the Peninsula in front of the hotel. Hint: One of the restaurants at Terranea is named after it.
He also gets a chance to meet some of the wild falcons that live at the center. Peter talks to Joe Roy who tells him all about the history of falcons in the area and why they stay.
You can listen to all of this and more on this week's epsiode of Travel Today with Peter Greenberg from Terranea Resort in Ranchos Palos Verdes.
