Tune in as the Sistas commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. They'll be joined by Civil Rights Activist and Freedom Rider, Joan Mulholland, and her son Loki Mulholland, award-winning filmmaker and director of An Ordinary Hero: The True Story of Joan Trumpauer Mulholland.
Joan Trumpauer Mulholland participated in one of the most famous and violent sit-ins of the Civil Rights Movement at the Jackson Woolworth lunch counter. She has come face-to-face with the KKK, was put on death row in Mississippi’s notorious Parchman Penitentiary with fellow Freedom Riders, and helped plan and organize the March on Washington. Following in his mother's footsteps, Loki Mulholland creates films that make a difference in the world. Joan and Loki founded the JTM Foundation, a non-profit organization that educates youth about the Civil Rights Movement and empowers them with the idea that they can make a difference. Tune in, chat in, and call in at (619) 789-6827 on July 7th at 7:30-pm Eastern Time with the Hitman and special guests as we tackle the dumbest preacher sayings and other silly statements by supposed "deep" spiritual folks which make absolutely no biblical sense at all for the first 6-months of 2014. We will examine these ludicrous teachings meant to sound super spiritual and authoritative as the "fluff & stuff" of foolish men they truly are. WHAT DO THE SCRIPTURES REALLY SAY that these leaders aren't telling you or they actually don't know? We'll find out, and want to hear from you as well, shalom!
Ronnie Wallace Long, whose racially-charged conviction triggered a riot in the mill town in 1976, is still incarcerated. It has been 36 years. Long has maintained his innocence while serving one of the longest sentences for rape in the state. An all-white jury convicted Long more than 30 years ago of the rape and burglary of a prominent Concord widow, whose husband was an executive at Canon Mills. The prosecution presented a smudged shoe print but no blood, hair, paint, fiber, fingerprints or semen linking Long to the rape. The conviction was based on the eyewitness identification of the victim who pointed out Long to officers in an unusual "lineup" when police brought the victim to court to see him.
All-white police officers lined the Concord court when the verdict was announced in 1976. After the verdict, protesters chanted outside the courtroom and news video shows officers clearing the courthouse swinging batons. Protesters set two homes on fire the weekend after the verdict. "What kind of justice could I receive, you understand what I'm saying, under these type circumstances," Ronnie Long told WCNC-TV in a 2007 prison interview.
Nobody will ever change the condition of a people until they change within themselves. Family the burden is on us to change our behavior; to build love, trust and confidence in each other and in our people for us, then, 95% of our problems will be solved. We, as leaders must declare that we will never sell out the aspirations of our people for personal wealth, position and advancement in the society of our former slave masters and their children. We must make a covenant with our people to work and sacrifice and be willing to be the good shepherd (leaders) who will lay down our lives for our people. Let us accept our responsibility and change our behavior to that, which will make us more than comrades and brothers and Sisters!
Tonights show will start with a discussion on civil rights vs natural (constitutional) rights. Also called [civil liberties] the difference is major. Also, Cary-Andrew Crittendon will be calling in with an update on the retaliation against George Williams, by the court.
Across the country our seniors and disabled adults are targeted by predatory guardians who operate through probate and family courts. Anyone can be targeted for committing the new age crime of [aging with assets]. Assets that predator fiduciary's have decided should belong to them. The system of legalized theft is facillitated by having the victim declared incompetent to handle their own affairs. Many active and vibrant seniors are declared incompetent or incapacitated by unethical doctors and psychiatrists who many times have never even seen the victim. The same doctors and psychiatrists are used routinely by the courts and the predators as they can be depended upon to write whatever diagnosis is desired.
Please join us as we take another look at the horrendous system put in place to loot the estates of unsuspecting elders who thougth they had their estates well planned.
As I type this, hundreds if not thousands of illegal immigrants are entering into our nation. The Civil War that we have all feared is soon going to be a reality. There has been a call put out for people to go to Texas to join Militia to secure the border. What should we do? Let's talk about it Tonight. This is an emergeny broadcast by this part of Opposing the Matrix. I take sole responsibility for this particular broadcast.
Recent Supreme Court ruling have your inquisitive host wondering how many Supreme Court justices does it take to strip the American people of the protections of the Constitution when the conservative portion of the court are all beholden to the Koch boys and the uber-conservative agenda to buy the federal government and be racist too. The separation of church and state was what the founding fathers wanted, but the rank Catholicism of the Court sees something more akin to christianity run amok. Like I said, the Supreme Court is the "shit of fools"...get the joke? Conservatives don't, their mouths are full of...you know.
As reported on NPR by Joseph Shapiro,
"In Augusta, Ga., a judge sentenced Tom Barrett to 12 months after he stole a can of beer worth less than $2.
In Ionia, Mich., 19-year-old Kyle Dewitt caught a fish out of season; then a judge sentenced him to three days in jail.
In Grand Rapids, Mich., Stephen Papa, a homeless Iraq War veteran, spent 22 days in jail, not for what he calls his "embarrassing behavior" after he got drunk with friends and climbed into an abandoned building, but because he had only $25 the day he went to court....people sometimes go to jail when they fall behind paying these fees.

Well, “The Court has Spoke”!
Just in time for Ramadan - hoping for a blessed and prosperous one to all.
The Court ruled on some highly anticipated cases, the Hobby Lobby getting the most “hits”.
Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores Inc., for many, was a case to greatly test the extent of religious freedom, and the extent Obamacare could intrude into a firm’s religious beliefs, here the right to refuse to cover for its employees,abortion-causing drugs and devices. Through all of this, the War on Women narrative has resurfaced.
The Court also ruled that the police cannot search a cellphone without a warrant. .
Both, arguably, are about rights.
Speaking of rights, July 2nd marked the 50th anniversary of the signing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, which may not have happened if JFK had lbeen alive.
What did it mean? What did it do? Should we be worried about nefarious attempts to rescind it, at least in principle?
The illegal immigration issue continues to intensify, in light of the mass infusion of children (human conduits – I’ll explain what I mean) through the borders.
Through this, Barack Obama, not being able to enact “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”, has promised to use an Executive Order, which is sure to exacerbate the tensions between he and John Boehner.
Also a group of Texans took matters into their own hands, blocking a bus which was transferring illegals. The confrontation caused a rerouting to California.
Will there be another War in Iraq? Barack Obama says “no”; I say, “Regretfully, yes”.
So, we can see that there’s much to discuss this Saturday, all the while, I’m reminded that I must be at my best behavior, since we are in Ramadan, so be prepared for an unusually reserved host.

In a deeply divisive case pitting advocates of religious liberty against women’s right’s groups, the Supreme Court said today that two for profit corporations with sincerely held religious beliefs do not have to provide a full range of contraceptives at no cost to their employees pursuant to the Affordable Care Act.
The decision is a victory for the Green family that owns Hobby Lobby, an arts and crafts chain, and the Hahns who own Conestoga, a cabinet making company, who had challenged the so called contraceptive mandate saying it forced them to either violate their faith or pay ruinous fines. They object specifically to four of the drugs and devices at issue because they say they have the potential to destroy an embryo. The government defended the provision as an essential part of health care coverage for women.
What does this mean for future cases? Is this the beginning of a litany of lawsuits and a denial of coverage for women? Does religious freedom overrule a woman's right to self determination? The implications of this ruling may be far reaching and have a lasting impact on our way of life as Americans. Join us and special guests as we discuss this from all angles.

Preaching Gods word from the King James Bible Scriptures.
I don't claim anything except the word of God. I give my opinion on the meaning and ask anyone that attends to search the scripture for themself so the Holy Spirit can work in the life of the believer the way God intended.
