Game show legend Chuck Woolery is back on the program to talk about politics and the impact that the new healthcare law will have on our country, especially when it comes to seniors. As the spokesperson for Generation America, Chuck has great insight on this subject. Dr. Ben Carson shook up the political scene while giving a speech at the National Prayer Breakfast Meeting in front of President Barack Obama. Dr. Carson has been in great demand with the national media, now he joins me live on BlogTalkRadio. Also, entertainer and Tea Party keynote speaker Lloyd Marcus will join us for this week’s Tea Party Corner. Of course we’ll also have all the latest political news as well.
The Don Smith Show “where it’s ok to be a conservative,” brings you the most in-depth coverage of all the latest political news. While the liberal media currently dominates the airwaves, now there is an alternative. Listen to The Don Smith Show every Saturday at Noon ET to hear great interviews with people like Ted Nugent, Chuck Woolery, Jon Voight, Ben Shapiro, Jack Blades, NRA President David Keene, Deneen Borelli, Steven Crowder, Victoria Jackson, and many more leading conservatives.
Don Smith is a business executive, and fiscal conservative. As seen on Fox News, CBS, PBS, and heard on various radio broadcasts around the country, The Don Smith Show takes the complex issues facing this nation and breaks them down in an easy to understand format. Tune in every Saturday morning for all the latest political news, and hear from famous conservatives from around this great country.

Nine days after unveiling his vision of a “defense innovation initiative” in a speech at the Reagan Library, Chuck Hagel is on his way out. He has come late to an appreciation of the pressing need to pursue game-changing paths in military and security affairs, and will now have little time and no power to champion the redesign of our armed services. Thus, the need to move from a muscle-bound military that has engaged to little positive effect in Iraq and Afghanistan—at a cost of trillions—to a leaner, nimbler, more networked force will remain unmet. This, above all else, is the greatest shortcoming of Hagel’s time as secretary, a fault he shares with his post-9/11 predecessors in the defense post. Donald Rumsfeld, Robert Gates and Leon Panetta also failed to take advantage of the bully pulpit of the Pentagon to effect needed transformational changes.John Arquilla
