Kimberly Skyrme is an artist. She paints with people. That’s how she describes her work as a casting agent. Kimberly’s been in the business for 24 years. She’s had her own agency, Kimberly Skyrme Casting, for over 20 of those years. She’s one of those lucky people who is doing exactly what she wants to do and loving it. Currently, she is casting House of Cards, the Netflix series that Kevin Spacey produces and stars in, which films in Baltimore. Having studied acting in college, she knows how to talk to actors to coax the best performance from them. She also has a genuine and overwhelming desire to help people find their careers.
Kimberly is expanding into directing and producing. Wonder Wheel Entertainment is a network of all kinds of movie people except actors. Right now, she is working on Madame Director, the story of the first woman director in film, Alice Guy Blache. She not only broke through the gender wall, she did a lot to revolutionize the style of acting in films, making it more realistic.

A Jam-Packed SineDie Edition.
We say hello to a proposal that we were supposed to say good-bye to, we hear good-byes from legislators, including a departing socially conservative Democrat. Martin O'Malley gives his last SineDie press gaggle as Governor,
We might be saying good-bye to Kevin Spacey too. Plus reactions to the General Assembly session from a herd of legislators... and too little brotherly love plus too much alcohol leads to bloodshed.
"The Imperfect Nest," takes you further along the highway, on a journey of sound and inner-sight that may guide you into a deeper state of contemplation, and awareness, albeit with an eclectic ‘joggle’ here and there.
The inspiration for the title: a nest keeps one warm and cozy on the inside--its function; on the outside, however, it has jagged edges and sticks protruding every which way--an appearance which belies its function. All of the pieces in this broadcast have the capacity to comfort and to invoke contemplation, despite their 'baroque' outward 'appearance'.
8:30 AM-8:57 AM: Pre-show startup with Baut and Sharbaugh.
8:57AM-9:00AM: Quiet time.
9:00 AM-10:06AM: "The Imperfect Nest."

NWP welcomes the Executive Producer of the Academy Award nominated movie "Captain Phillips", Dana Brunetti!
Captain Phillips is a multi-layered examination of the 2009 hijacking of the U.S. container ship Maersk Alabama by a crew of Somali pirates. It is — through director Paul Greengrass’s distinctive lens — simultaneously a pulse-pounding thriller, and a complex portrait of the myriad effects of globalization. The film focuses on the relationship between the Alabama’s commanding officer, Captain Richard Phillips (two time Academy Award®-winner Tom Hanks), and the Somali pirate captain, Muse (Barkhad Abdi), who takes him hostage. Phillips and Muse are set on an unstoppable collision course when Muse and his crew target Phillips’ unarmed ship; in the ensuing standoff, 145 miles off the Somali coast, both men will find themselves at the mercy of forces beyond their control.
Dana talks about the filming of this movie and his other upcoming projects including Evel Knievel, House of Cards and Fifty Shades of Grey.
