Redeeming Waters is a story about a mega gospel recording artist named King d.Avid who meets Brianna. Their paths cross again years later and you see them both dealing with some things during that time. As with all of us, we make decisions not realizing how deep the consequences of those actions may take us. People will also learn things when it comes to the biblical telling of David and Bathsheba.

    About the author:

Meet author Lyric Benson Ferguson. She's stopping by the Author Chat show to 'chat' about her new book, French Kissing God: A Journey to Enlightenment.

    About the book:

French Kissing God brings a message of peace, love and Divine-realization while awakening the hearts of anyone seeking a truly mystical existence. The book’s exuberant, pulsating, passionate and visceral verses are the hallmark of author Lyric Benson Fergusson, whose words let us join her on a journey to enlightenment—from the beginning days when she was seeking God to experiences of unimaginable Divine Union and bliss. This powerful collection successfully brings the concept of piety back “down to Earth” in the modern-day playground of spiritual awakening.

French Kissing God: A Journey to Enlightenment has been endorsed by bestselling authors: Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Jeff Brown, Marci Shimoff, Barnet Bain, Dr. Norman Rosenthal and many others.

    About the author:

Lyric first emerged from almost a decade of studying consciousness and enlightenment to create her debut album Lyric’s Love Light Revolution, co-produced by her father, actor/director Robby Benson, and her singer/songwriter mother, Karla DeVito. The album is a celebration of Lyric’s wildly eccentric journey into the throes of divine love. All of her lyrics were inspired by and taken directly from the poetry she composed over these very unconventional spiritual years.

Childrens Views - Witness Episode 2

    in Environment

Childrens views and thoughts on the enviroment are very important on Natures Talk Show. In the second airing of our new series Witness, on Wednesday November 4th, please join me as I interview Talon Blottin along with his father Mark and my own daughter, Madison, to discuss how these youngsters feel about the state of our environment.  In our first episode, I interviewed my father and father-in-law and got their perspective.  Now it’s time to see what the newest generation sees as our most pressing problems, what they are learning in schools, and what they are personally doing to help out the environment.

I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing these two on the show before and look forward to getting them together on Wednesday night.  I’m interested to see the perspective of our youth on important environmental issues, and ask them not only what they think, but what they are exposed to in school and at home in regards to recycling, climate change, and other environmental issues.

Along with the kids, I expect to have a good exchange with Mark, Talons dad as to what we as parents perceive as the threats to our environment, as well as our role in educating our kids.  As parents, we are ultimately responsible for the content and understanding of the kids, as well as ensuring that our actions and inactions do not reflect directly or indirectly on the kids.  Our own environmental ethics can weigh heavily on them, and the decisions we make can affect them for years to come.

So join us on Wednesday night at 9 PM EST on November 4th on Witness. Remember, we are all witness to what is happening around us, it’s up to each of us to become participants.  So participate by tuning in to the discussion and join in by calling into out show line or on our web page discussion board Wednesday night.

    About the book:

ANGRY MOVIE GUY is an off-beat film industry romantic comedy novel with a exuberant cast of characters. It flawlessly blends witty dialogue, inadequacy, self-hatred and a comfortable familiarity with types that we somewhat already know.

When his biting review and explosive T.V. fit threatens to destroy the career of Alexa, an absent minded fiery independent filmmaker whom Charlie has fallen in love with he must re-examine his personal life and career. This event serves as a catalyst for his Grinch-like personal redemption. More in touch with his feelings, Charlie relentlessly pursues Alexa like a love-struck fool while Harry, the lewd producer of his show unrelentingly plots against the budding romance using the “bad- publicity" model as his tool to keep them apart. Charlie won’t give up with out a fight! In the end, he is able to move beyond his egocentric personality and win the heart of Alexa. ANGRY MOVIE GUY is an off-beat film industry romantic comedy novel with a exuberant cast of characters.
