Pulse of the Pack: Capital Punishment

    in Football

The Packers showed everyone "who the hell they are" and put a beating on the Washington Redskins.  Now it's on to the divisional round and a rematch with the Arizona Cardinals.  Green Bay has a lot to build on after the win in Washington, but will it be enough to put on a better showing than the last time they met Arizona?  Can Aaron Rodgers and the offense put together enough to keep up with the Red Birds and start a truly magical playoff ride?  Jacob and Jason discuss the good and bad from the Washington win and discuss it all on. . Pulse of the Pack: Limping To The Finish Line

    in Football

The Packers finished the regular season with just four wins in their last 10 games after losing at home to the Minnesota Vikings.  The Vikes grabbed the division title and the Packers head to face the Washington Redskins as a wild card.  Green Bay's haplessness over the last half of the season has been hard to endure.  Is there any reason to think the Packers can score enough points to win a playoff game?  Are the issues with this offense a 2015 thing or does it reach beyond that?  Jacob and Jason try to make sense, somehow, of what this season has become for the Packers and it's right here on. . Pulse of the Pack!

Pulse of the Pack: Down But Not Out

    in Football

The Packers got a good old-fashioned ass kicking by the Arizona Cardinals and the unrest is back in Green Bay.  They're playoff-bound but what is the expectation after the terrible showing in Arizona?  The Packers looked as bad as can be remembered and now need to put this debacle behind them and focus on a week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikingsn for the NFC North title.  Can they bounce back and will it be enough momentum heading into the postseason?  How valid are all of the concerns and calls for change in Green Bay?  Jacob and Jason discuss on. . Pulse of the Pack!

Pulse of the Pack: Invading The Nest

    in Football

Jacob and Jason break down the win over the Raiders.  They'll also pause to acknowledge the Hall of Fame career of Charles Woodson, who is retiring after this season.  Despite the win, why all the long faces in Green Bay?  The duo discuss the comments made after the win by Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers.  Is this 10-win team as good as their record?  Are they playing well enough at this point in the season?  How realistic are the Packers' playoff chances right now?  The Cardinals just lost Tyrann Mathieu for the season.  How big of an impact will that make and can Green Bay find a way to beat a better Cardinals team?  A win sets the Packers up to grab the #2 seed in the NFC but it's a lot easier said than done.  Listen in to this week's Pulse of the Pack for the latest and greatest on your Green Bay Packers!

Pulse of the Pack: Entering The Black Hole

    in Football

The Packers easily dispatched the Dallas Cowboys for their second-straight win.  They now turn their attention to a tough road game against the Oakland Raiders.  With the way the NFC is set up this season, the most the Packers can gain by a strong finish is the #2 seed but they're also not very likely to lose the #3 seed either.  This one is for momentum and the beginning of a strong finish.  Can the Packers hope for the same kind of success against Amari Cooper that they had with Dez Bryant?  Will Oakland be able to run on the Packers like Dallas did last week?  Can Green Bay's offense put up another stellar performance and help silence the critics?  Jacob and Jason discuss it all on this latest installment of. . Pulse of the Pack!

Pulse of the Pack: A Rodgers Miracle

    in Football

Somehow, some way, the Packers pulled out one of the most improbable wins when they needed it most.  Amidst injuries, changes and controversy with some of their best players, the Packers beat the Detroit Lions on a Hail Mary pass from Aaron Rodgers to Richard Rodgers with no time on the clock to stay in the race for the NFC North.  Jacob and Jason look back at why it came down to a prayer pass and catch for the win.  Will this win catapult the Packers to better things the rest of this season?  What still needs to be fixed?  The two also look ahead to next week's game against the Dallas Cowboys at Lambeau Field, where the Packers have lost two in a row.  Can they get back on track as they head into the last quarter of the 2015 season?  It's all here on this latest edition of. . Pulse of the Pack!

Pulse of the Pack: Packers Ceremoniously Thankless

    in Football

One step forward, two steps back.  The Packers can't seem to get their act together since the bye week and dropped their second-straight home game on a night when there was so much to play for.  The Pack dropped to 7-4 on the season and have fallen completely out of the conversation about top contenders in the NFC.  What is going on in Titletown and how can Green Bay start to tackle all of their issues?  Jacob and Jason discuss a night to remember. . and forget and look ahead to this Thursday's game against the Detroit Lions on Pulse of the Pack!
