The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) are the most recognizable cheerleading squad in the world. Known for their emblematic uniforms, signature kick line and cowboy boots, the DCCs are, unquestionably, “America’s Sweethearts”. With the tagline “often imitated, never equaled”, the DCCs must adhere to what Director Kelli Finglass calls “almost unattainable standards”. So how do the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders live up to these nearly impossible expectations? We’ll find out as I interview DCC Veteran Mackenzie Lee and DCC Rookie Emily Claire!

Join Anna K. as she interviews the owner of Revolution Studio...
Kim Syma graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. In Communication Studies. She spent three years working in entertainment marketing, and later worked in client relations for a boutique investment bank. After several years in the corporate world Kim decided to follow her true passion into fitness. Kim has been an avid athlete since childhood. As a native Houstonian, Kim grew up competing for Karolyi's Gymnastics before she transitioned into cheerleading. Kim was a cheerleader at The University of Texas and was also an instructor for the Universal Cheerleaders Association. All the while, Kim enjoyed indoor cycling classes as her favorite way to stay fit. While living in NYC Kim discovered the studio fitness scene and the idea was hatched for an indoor cycling studio that offered a full-body workout yet was fun and exciting. Kim returned to UT Austin to pursue her MBA and finesse the idea for what would be Revolution Studio. While at UT she met her future husband and now business partner, Mitch. Together Mitch and Kim own Revolution Studio, Sugar Land's premier indoor cycling studio. The couple just celebrated one year of marriage along with one year of being in business! They live in Bellaire with their neurotic but lovable 11-year old Yorkie named Allie.

VividLife Radio's Edie Weistein welcomes Author Karilee Shames to discuss Amazing Mentors: The REAL Hot Mama's Path to Power
Everyone needs a team of emotional cheerleaders. Are there people in your life that you view as mentors and guides who have blazed a path and shone a light so that you could find your own way? As an emotionally under-nourished, overly-sensitive child, multiple bestselling author and medical expert Karilee Shames’ young life was plagued with maternal loneliness and misunderstanding. Yet she quickly learned to seek out women who modeled the qualities she most sought to emulate and soon realized that she, herself, had become a mentor to others. Amazing Mentors: The REAL Hot Mama’s Path to Power is a tribute to those who have helped to shape her life, and the lives of so many other women, including Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, US Army General Clara Adams, Yoga Journal Co-Founder Rama Vernon and more. www.AmazingMentorsBook.com

IN TODAYS EPISODE WE WILL BEGIN A MULTI PART SERIES ON THE 7 UNIVERSAL LAWS OF SUCCESS
Todays law is Number 5
The Law of Association
These principles come from the Customer Service Academy Job Training Curriculum This program was one of the great passions of my life and I would love to bring it back eventually.
All success in life is fueled by what Napoleon Hill described as Mastermind Alliances or the people you assiciate with.
That is the group of people around you who empower you to move more quickly towards your plans and pursuits. These people are powerful forces in your life that encourage you to get it done.
Your associations or friendships should build you up. They should help you be more successful. They should challenge you to become a better person. They throw wood on your fire when you are losing steam and they become cheerleaders for you when obstacles get in the way of your progress. The problem for many people is that our lives are filled with relationships that have no purpose. These are people who have no goals or direction who just wander through life. If you are not careful, you will end up wandering too.
KickAss Radio with Kristi Winger-Szudlo welcomes Melissa Hall, former Ms. Bikini Universe and 8 time National cover model, to talk about how to live a balanced life and teach us, through a combination of exercise, beauty & nutrition basics, how to look and feel our best. Preparing for the future used to be a luxury but NOW thanks to Big Government it has become a necessity. Planting a garden, canning & dehydrating food, which used to be an enjoyable way of life is now being practiced by both young and old in order to survive. Big Government has made Prepping & Survival our new way of life. The Texas Kountze High School Cheerleaders who won the battle in court to use religious scripture on their banners is now being taken back to court by the School Board, ACLU and Freedom From Religion Foundation. This is why preparing now is more important than ever to save our First Amendment.
