Please join me tomorrow for a candid conversation with Dwayne Brown, president of The Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce and the youngest person to hold this position in Westchester County.
Please remember you can call in live on 6196394621.
The Modesto Chamber of Commerce has used economic discrimination for political power.
It wasn’t long ago that there was a debate about the role of the Chamber of Commerce in Modesto.
There were those who felt that the chamber should certainly involve itself in any issue that would bring business development to the city, but that it should stay clear of endorsing candidates.
With the arrival of land-use attorney George Petrulakis and political consultant, the issue was settled that the chamber should be a political organization9
We have a couple of returning guests this morning, Jeri Wilson and Pamela Rice, representatives from the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Jeri Wilson is the Owner and Business Development Director of Your Actualized Visions Advertising Agency. Jeri started her agency 2 years ago after working in the advertising field for 7 years at one of the world’s largest agencies. She began her own agency after hearing from clients how much they enjoyed working with her, but hated the company she worked for. A group of clients urged her to start her own agency stating they would be her first clients. After hearing this for a few years, she took on the challenge and has never looked back. Pleasing her clients is Jeri’s top priority and Your Actualized Visions Advertising offers everything under one roof.
Pamela Rice has a background in Medicare Health Insurance/Sales. She was in the Healthcare industry for 20+ years and decided to change her career and get out of the health care industry altogether. Pamela started at Office Depot in 2004 and is currently a Territory Development Manager for the South Bay communities. She is responsible for growing the territory for new business as well as maintaining the current client base. Pamela loves her job and enjoys the social aspect of connecting with different people in the various chambers she does business with daily.
This morning, Jeri and Pamela are going to tell us some of the benefits and advantages of being a member of the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce
