    Dr. Harrison-Madu - The Nursing Experience

    Dr. Harrison-Madu is currently the Acting Chairperson of Nursing and Allied Health Programs at Essex County College in Newark, New Jersey.

    Dr. Harrison lectures on topics nursing framework to include Fundamentals of Nursing, Pharmacology, Maternal Newborn, Pediatrics, Medical Surgical Nursing and Mental Health Nursing.

    Dr. Harrison-Madu’s did her masteres thesis entitled “Improving Nurse Performance of Medication Administration Assessment in the Home Care Environment” and her doctorial dissertation entitled, “A Study on Nursing Student Experiences and Perceptions in Processing Information on Standardized Tests”.

So many certifications and organizations trying to manage those certified and uncertified and newly certified instructors, while simultaneously branding themselves as the leader in group fitness innovation. Who is advocating for the instructor? We must advocate for ourselves. We must agree on our own standards. We must work together to build a product that is 'as sold/ as delivered'

    Janice also was awarded a special grant which gave her entry into a program which includes mentorship for one year with more than 50 mentors to help her launch and grow her Tone-Y-Bands brand.


    Tone-Y-Bands are a fashionable, wearable band which include writst weights that busy people can wear throughout the day to tone arms, build core muscles, and burn more calories.
