What is appreciation? How can we show it in marriage? Many career women feel that their husband's are insensitive to the fact that she works so hard. Just the same, there are brothers out there who hate to come home from work to a "nagging wife." Everyone wants to feel appreciated for who they are and what they do. We want to hear your ideas on how to show it

Today we are doing a recap on our visit to Central Park in NYC
For More Info go to www.centralparknyc.org
but before we tell more about our exploration I would like to mention the location for todays show
we are live from the 805 Third Avenue (49th and 50th Street) - The Crystal Pavilion
www.untappedcities.com says: This tri-leveled lunch hotspot is best accessed at the street level via a wide, right-angled circulation corridor, which also connects the Third Avenue and East 50th Street entrances. The concourse level, reached by escalator near the Third Avenue entrance has the most amount of tables and services, and is the spot where during mid-day, when the sun comes bursting through the windows, one can look up and literally be dazzled by the space’s volume and design.
Back in the day, it was common practice for men to open doors for ladies, let them out of cars, and even hold their hand when going up stairs. There are so many customary practices regarding chivalry that seem to be dead and or dying today. Is it just the way this generation does things? It seems that there are very few men who still practice these customs today. We want to know from you: Is chivalry dead? What can we do to bring it back to life or is it a lost cause? Dr. & Lady Newells are ready to discuss this with you tonight!
Our good friend Justin Michels took part in the eastern indigo snake initiative with the Orianne Society. Justin was in Georgia helping look for and radio track eastern indigo snakes. Tune in to learn all about it.

Any married couple knows that staying together gets hard. Especially when differences come into play and get out of hand. Not everyone knows how to "agree to disagree." We harbor feelings that should have been let go. Sometimes adultery has been committed and keeps coming up every time an argument ensues. Has it really gotten so bad that divorce is inevitable? Is divorce acceptable? If so, at what point. In this episode, Dr. & Lady Newells outline the biblical and practical answers to these questions!

The VA's Homeless Veterans Community Employment Services (HVCES) program helps homeless veterans re-enter the workforce and is a valuable community partner for workforce development organizations.
The Veterans Health Administration's Homeless Veteran Community Employment Services program provides wraparound services to Veterans exiting homelessness that enable them to successfully connect with businesses and return to employment. "This unique population is highly motivated and actually has a varied skill set from which employers can benefit," shared Dr. Carma Heitzmann, Director of VA's HVCES program. "Getting formerly homeless veterans into gainful employment and supporting them during that critical first year back in the labor force increases their success in both the workforce and in maintaining their housing status." In this Workforce Central radio show from the National Association of Workforce Boards, President/CEO Ron Painter interviews Dr. Heitzmann to share the details of the HVCES program and how workforce development organizations can form partnerships and engage locally assigned Community Employment Coordinators to successfully place formerly homeless veterans into employment. Don't miss this opportunity to learn more about this valuable resource available to your region.
We are living in the age of technology. Everywhere we look, whether in restaurants, lines, coffee shops... Everyone seems to be scrolling through their phones or tablets. Even couples out to dinner would both be on their phones and no conversation is going on. Do you feel technology is ruining your relationships?
