My Prayer Closet - Praying the Protastúnach Paidrín - Protestant Celtic Rosary

    in Christianity

My Prayer Closet which is part of our Evangelical Church of the Celtic Cross, has a new broadcasting format. We hope you will join us and pray along. Yes it will take a little getting used to but, it is our hope and prayer that you will be receptive to it and that you find it of great spiritual help in your prayerful life and spiritual walk. Bringing you closer to our heavenly Father all the days of your life.

Though an Unorthodox and Unauthorized Version

We have found it to be acceptable and is approved by the Celtic Cross Foundation of Ministry for use with our Protestant and Non-Denominational Worshipers.

So to our Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ, please don’t take offense. We understand Catholics and Protestants have specific theological differences and we can all get along because we share the same purpose, that is, a life with Christ and Heaven ever after. This is to say that stating with significant difference between the two denominations; Protestants don't put as much emphasis on Mary as do Catholics.

Protestants believe we don't need a mediator to talk to God. When the veil was torn from top to bottom (Mark 15:37-38) we believe God tore the veil as a symbolic act to say Christ's death removed the barrier that separated us from God. Now we can come to God ourselves at anytime and any place.

The following is just our Protestant Version of the Dalriadan Celtic Rosary Prayer, using God, and Christ to worship rather than Mary, and encompass purposeful communication between God, Jesus, and you.

  • The Lost Art of Listening

    in Christianity

How would you rate yourself as a listener in conversations about faith? Often times Christians can be arrogant and lack compassion when engaging others in apologetic conversations. However, 1 Peter 3:15 tells us to defend our faith with "gentleness and respect," and in our hearts "to honor Christ the Lord as holy." Tonight, Brandon and Jared talk about how and why Christians should approach these conversations with humility and kindess.

The Hypocrisy Of Christianity Part 2

    in Christianity

This special teaching is part of our series true Christianity, in our culture many do not truly understand what it truly means to be a Christian. In our first lesson we talked about the price of the Cross, in this special teaching we will be talking about the problem within the church, as research shows the number one reason, when polled among young people, that they do not go to church was. That Christians say one thing, but there lives portray another. However, in scripture we are told to let our lights so shine before man, that they see our goods works, and glorify the father which is in heaven. Holiness has became a word of shame, in many churches across North America. As ministers have become more focused on building empires, than kingdom citizens. This special teaching will bless, and transform your walk with God, send this to anyone that you know that is lost. Help me to spread this message across the web, this message is from the Holy Spirit, and needs to be heard as a warning to the church.
