Have you ever considered how the cellular level of your body is similar to the cellular phone most of us use every day? We are so influenced by exterior forces in the world that we often don't realize that we have all the answers inside. On Monday, Aug. 11, noon PDT/3 p.m. EDT/8 p.m. UK. Kathleen Ellis will tell us about the importance of healing to the cellular level.
In 1995, successful in a 20+-year real estate career, Kathleen suddenly found herself with that age-old question “Is this all there is? What does it take to be truly fulfilled and happy?” Realizing that her passion was public speaking, she left the corporate world, developed workshops to help others with the talents she spent many years attaining, and began her seminar business. Fate, however, had a different plan. Kathleen talks about that in her workshops and her book The Darkness Cannot Keep Us: Choosing A Better Tomorrow. Now, Kathleen is focusing her business on helping individuals bring confidence back for what they have lost with their own life experiences. Utilizing innate tools instilled in all of us, she helps you reconnect with that essential part of yourself that drives you toward success.
Each Monday at 12 noon PST/3 pm EST/8 pm UK, our host, Cindy Freeman, and her guests bring insights and ideas to help you grow in your Soul path. Cindy's guests are experts on living their life with a purpose and are willing to share with listeners how they got there and how others might benefit from their experience. Join Cindy on Mondays live or archived to explore this area. Check out more information at Purpose Talk Radio and join the conversations on Facebook at Purpose Talk Radio Conversations.

WHY DO WE AGE? WHY DOES DISEASE EXIST?
The human body is an incredible machine.
Part of what makes it so impressive (apart from the concept of consciousness, spiritual and self awareness) is its ability to regenerate itself.
Your outer layer of skin, the epidermis (apart from the thicker dermis beneath), replaces itself every 35 days. You are given a new liver every six weeks (a human liver can regenerate itself completely even if as little as 25% remains of it).
Your stomach lining replaces itself every 4 days, and the stomach cells that come into contact with digesting food are replaced every 5 minutes. Our entire skeletal structures are regenerated every 3 months.
Your entire brain replaces itself every two months. And the entire human body, right down to the last atom, is replaced every 5-7 years.
SO, the question I would love to know the answer to is this: if my brain replaces itself every two months (meaning I’ve had over 500 completely new brains since the day I was born) how is it that I’m still able to have memories from when I was a young boy?

Medical science had determined, through doing transplants, that the memory passes at the cellular level, and that every cell in your body knows everything that has ever happened to you in your life. My guest is Mike Carey, who has been active in Alternative Healing for many years. His special "gift" of being able to read bodies, has offered recovery for people all over the world, with many different malady's. He found out that you can tap into that memory by asking the body questions that can be answered "yes" or "no", and the body will respond electrically which can then be understood through muscle testing. Mike can be reached at alternativesolutions4health.com or toll free 208-968-5797.
This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. I introduce topics, and survivor's share their experience, strength and hope. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery.
More will be revealed! Tune in, stop in and call in. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me." We focus on the four A's of Recovery...Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers. :)
Some nights we have a featured guest, others we will introduce a topic of recovery, encouraging callers to join us in the discussion. The second part of the show is Open Mic and some great Indy Music, sure to inspire!

When a parent has a normally healthy child, it's easy to take a day for granted. Conversely, when a parent gives birth to a special needs child, every day takes on new importance. When a parent has a child with a life-threatening illness, each day can seem like a miracle. How do parents of children with congenital heart defects make each day special? How do parents of CHD survivors make memories everyday? What riturals are significant to a special needs family? Should parents create special rituals if a child passes away? When we know that any day could be our last with our CHD survivors, it is even more critical to make each and every day special and to create special memories to sustain us through hospitalizations, medical procedures or, the worst fate a parent can imagine, losing a child too soon.

Gus Venegas was born in 1952 a few months before after a Bautista's coup that ended fifty years of democracy and civil liberties in Cuba. Nearly all of Gus' kin supported a Revolution that supported a return of the Republic. The Venegas family witnessed the transformation of the Cuban Revolution into the Western Hemisphere's most oppressive political, economic, and cultural dictatorship. They left Cuba in 1966 when Castro and President Johnson agreed to a legal and orderly departure of Cuban exiles.
Venegas is the author of Memories from the Land of the Intolerant Tyrant. Venegas says this book which details life under Castro, is his vegeance. "The truth is our vengeance".
