    LIVE! with Cathi---Holiday Lasting Memories

    in Fitness

"Backward turn backward O time in your flight, make me a child again just for tonight!'

In my mind's eye, I see it so clearly.  Christmas was always a festive holiday while growing up.  Pa Paun, my father always got up at 4:30 a.m. to start the furnace and Ma Paun, my  mothers would get up shortly after Pa and begin her Christmas Baking...bread, jelly doughnuts, strudel cakes and I would be in the dining room playing with my cut-out dolls.  Ah, the aroma, the fragrance, the memories.

Many of us have lasting memories from our childhood holidays.  Many memories are tied to traditions that get passed down for generations and the mere practice today stirs emotions.

According to the experts, memories are cemented not because of WHAT we do but HOW we do it.  It's about how we share experiences together.

    STAY TUNED...

    Family togetherness...etc.

    Holiday ritual...etc.

    Repetition of an activity...etc.

    Memories are  based on...etc.

Rehash memories in you mind daily...etc.

The Cellular Side of Healing with Kathleen Ellis

    in Spirituality

Have you ever considered how the cellular  level of your body is similar to the cellular phone most of us use every day? We are so influenced by exterior forces in the world that we often don't realize that we have all the answers inside. On Monday, Aug. 11, noon PDT/3 p.m. EDT/8 p.m. UK. Kathleen Ellis will tell us about the importance of healing to the cellular level.

In 1995, successful in a 20+-year real estate career, Kathleen suddenly found herself with that age-old question “Is this all there is? What does it take to be truly fulfilled and happy?” Realizing that her passion was public speaking, she left the corporate world, developed workshops to help others with the talents she spent many years attaining, and began her seminar business. Fate, however, had a different plan. Kathleen talks about that in her workshops and her book The Darkness Cannot Keep Us: Choosing A Better Tomorrow. Now, Kathleen is focusing her business on helping individuals bring confidence back for what they have lost with their own life experiences. Utilizing innate tools instilled in all of us, she helps you reconnect with that essential part of yourself that drives you toward success.

Each Monday at 12 noon PST/3 pm EST/8 pm UK, our host, Cindy Freeman, and her guests bring insights and ideas to help you grow in your Soul path. Cindy's guests  are experts on living their life with a purpose and are willing to share with listeners how they got there and how others might benefit from their experience. Join Cindy on Mondays live or archived to explore this area. Check out more information at Purpose Talk Radio and join the conversations on Facebook at Purpose Talk Radio Conversations.

    CHRISTMAS MEMORIES I

    in Entertainment

    ABOUT THIS SHOW:

This is the sixth year of my annual two-night family Christmas show, filled with wonderful old rare radio shows, stories, songs, and culminating in the second night (tomorrow) with the old and rare reading by author Truman Capote of his own poignant "A Christmas Memory."

You'll hear music by Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and others singing holiday classics, as well as old radio performances of holiday classics, and some you've never heard. The stories vary from year-to-year, but always great nostalgic holiday fare.

Gather your family around, have a cup of hot cocoa, eggnog, or just a cup of good cheer, and enjoy.

Tomorrow night's show will be deleted afterward and only available for listening live each year, when I switch things up and put together a warm and hopefully memorable holiday program for you.

Merry Christmas, and happiest of holidays to everyone. I wish you each a new year of good health, and abundant peace.

Thank you to all of my listeners from the bottom of my heart.

The Owners' Manual for the Human Body--HEALTH SOLUTION: Cellular Somatics

    in Education

    Celling Your Soul

As we have seen, our beliefs and perceptions are the basis for our thoughts and feelings. Our thoughts and feelings are waves of electromagnetic energy and information that permeate each and every cell in our mind-body system via a connective tissue crystalline matrix.

Cellular Biologist Dr Bruce Lipton explains:

“Every cell is a programmable chip, and the nucleus of the cell is the hard disk with programs. But, like a computer, it is the programmer that controls the disk, not the disk that controls the programmer.”

We are the programmers. These signals of our bodies work in a feedback loop with our brains, and both consciously and subconsciously govern our choices. Our choices, of course, drastically influence the condition of our lives.

    The implications are immense.

As esteemed physics Professor John Hagelin explains succinctly:

“It is important to recognise that our body is really the product of our thoughts, we are beginning to understand in medical science the degree to which the nature of our thoughts and emotions actually determine the physical substance and structure and function of our bodies.”

If thats not a good enough reason to update our belief systems and emotional reactions then i don’t know what is. Can you disagree?

    "CHALDEAN CHRISTMAS"

    in Entertainment

As this year comes to an end, we wanted to make this show all about Christmas: Your fondest memories, the gifts, the giving, the religious aspect of Christmas, are just some of the topics we will cover. Is it becoming too commercial? Or will Chaldeans always value the true meaning? Special Christmas songs will be playing throughout the show and we encourage all our listeners to share their favorite Christmas memories. Rafed Yaldo, will call in, live, to share his current journey in Iraq and update us on the status of the Christmas Spirit back home. On behalf of The Boiler Room, we would like to wish all our listeners and your families a very Merry Christmas! God Bless!
