Jennifer joined the staff of NFCA in 2009 as the organization’s first full-time development officer. She formerly served as the Vice-President of Development for JCCs of Greater Philadelphia. For the last three years, she has been contracted by the federal Department of Health and Human Services as a grant reviewer for the Compassion Capital Fund’s Targeted Capacity-Building and Demonstration Programs. Special Guest: Cheryl Harris, MPH RD has been teaching clients how to live and love a gluten-free diet for the past 9 years. She was recently selected as the “Emerging Dietetics Leader of the Year” for 2012 for Virginia. She has presented widely on Celiac Disease and a gluten-free diet for an FDA Panel, at the Virginia Dietetics Association Annual Meeting. She is currently the Nutrition Advisor for the DC Metro Area Celiac Sprue Support Group and is on the advisory board for Simply Gluten-Free Magazine.
