"The best defense is a good offense" is an adage that has been applied to many fields of endeavor, including games and military combat. Generally, the idea is that strong offensive action will preoccupy the opposition and ultimately hinder its ability to mount an opposing counterattack, leading to a strategic advantage.
SO HOW DOES THIS WORK SPIRITUAL?

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will discuss the second preseason game of the season. The Packers visited St. Louis and moved up and down the field with their number one offense. Defensively, some good things on the run defense, but still looked a bit suspect in the seam. There were some big surprises with the back ups, so who did enough to make the coaches say "WOW" we can't let this kid go? Fasten your Seat Belts and put your foot on the gas, we are talking Packers.
When it comes to rising seas, the U.S. tax code is not ready. Neither are the IRS regulations.
The federal definition of "Casualty Loss" does not seem to cover owner's losses when ocean waters permanently steal properties.
Given established scientific projections concerning sea level rise, Congress needs to undertake a detailed review of the "casualty loss" term and broaden it to be ready for financial losses due to swelling oceans.
The tax code was never written to address sea level rise. Now it must.
