Dianne Barker was born with a silver pen in her hand, so to speak. She landed her dream job at 18, writing for the local newspaper while attending college, and wrote her first book at 24. In 1986 her book Twice Pardoned was # 1 on the national Christian best-sellers list. Then her life took an unexpected turn, taking her out of the publishing loop for over 15 years. Today she will share her story—her early success, her long stay in Overwhelm City (she calls this period the “Shrunken Life”) and how she reinvented herself to make a comeback. You don’t want to miss this story!
Dianne Barker is a conference speaker, freelance journalist, radio host, and author of eleven books including the 1986 best-seller Twice Pardoned (life of Harold Morris and first book for Focus on the Family Publishing).
Her new book, I Don’t Chase the Garbage Truck Down the Street in My Bathrobe Anymore! Organizing for the Maximum Life, gives practical strategies to organize space, time, and family chaos while encouraging personal renovation—purging interior garbage (inferiority, low esteem), and submitting fully to Christ, gateway to balance and abundant living.
A graduate of East Tennessee State University, Dianne hosts a weekly program on the Christian station WHCB Radio, Bristol, Tennessee, 91.5 FM, “At the Library” on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m. www.whcbradio.org. Dianne is a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and Christian Authors Network. Dianne’s passion is investing her life in people, encouraging wholehearted surrender to our faithful Lord, who is so worthy of our devotion and praise! www.diannebarker.com

Minister/Overseer Landris E. Barker will be joining our show Friday July 18th. 630PM Eastern time. I mean this Man of God is awesome y'all. Like everyone else he has had ups no downs but what seperates him is he never let situations that the enemy ment for his bad get to him. Instead he allowed God to step in and take over.
I'm excited about what God has in store for him on this show and I'm excited about the lives I already foresee him touching.
He will also be doing an exhortation on the show! You really don't want to miss this. I'm telling y'all don't miss out on your blessing.

Survivor Max: Too Smart to Die
Publication Date: February 18, 2014
Meet Max, an 11-year old boy who was stuck in another boring day at school when the lock down alarm went off. They were under quarantine. He escaped and made it home, only to discover he’d have to find a way to survive this plague alone. Little did he know his father, his only parent, was among the infected.
Slow-moving and non-thinking, the "lamebrains" swarmed his apartment complex, hunting survivors to feed their insatiable hunger for living flesh. Now he must rely on his Porcupine Freedom Scouts training, and scarce supplies to survive. A chance discovery reveals his father's research on the virus, which in the right hands may be the key to a cure, but first he must prove that he's too smart to die.

This week our guests are Steven Streufert and Ian C, co-founders of the Bluff Creek Trail Cam Project and the Bluff Creek Film Site Project. The Film Site project was originally formed in 2009 in order to locate the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film site. The team successfully located the film site in 2011 and continued to perform field research and surveys to digitally reconstruct the site and ascertain exact dimensional data from the film and make accurate measurements of the creature’s pathway and size. The Trail Cam project was launched in 2012 in order to systematically install high end trail cameras throughout the Bluff Creek area to capture the movements of the area’s inhabitants. Steven also writes a popular blog named Bigfoot’s bLog, runs a bookstore named Bigfoot Books in Willow Creek, CA and also runs the Facebook group Coalition for Reason, Science, Satire and Sanity in Bigfoot Research. Join us this week as we pick their brains on these subjects and much more!
