Businesses You Should Be Aware Of

    in Business

Tune in THIS TUESDAY (10/07/2014) @ 11:30 PM EST for "Businesses You Should Be Aware Of" on Deep, Dark, n Dirty. Join us in THE CHATROOM @ www.blogtalkradio.com/knowurenemy OR CALL IN @ (917)889-3369. We look forward to seeing you there.

What would you do if you went to a hotel and they had bed bugs, dirty with rocks that came up through your bathroom sink, and made you carry your kitchen ware in a tote back to your room? How would you feel if you went to get an online degree and none of the jobs you applied for acknowledged the school you graduated from? Not only that, the institution you attended supported professors sabotaging your grades and laughing at students for addressing their grades being lowered than the grade they earned. And how would you feel if you told the hotel you worked for your labor rights and they disregarded it and even addressed it to others in a meeting? Instead they made you work 14-16 hours in one day and you receive one break when you first started your work shift, what would you do?

    Local Businesses and Online Marketing

    in Business

My guest will be Michele Waldman. Michele is the president of Max Your Media, a full-service online marketing and advertising company, which develops and implements targeted Internet marketing campaigns.  After graduating from Syracuse University with a Textile Design degree, and working as a textile designer for two years, Michele was given the opportunity to work for an Internet startup.  Subsequently, she went on to work for Citysearch selling online advertising which was pre-Google and, at the time, the main online directory for local businesses. Eventually she left the local industry and went to work for Doubleclick/Google and then Microsoft selling to major publishers technology and Rich Media. Due to the mergers and acquisitions that hit the Internet industry over the years she altered her career path and to pursue her longtime dream of building a business to satisfy the growing need of small businesses for online marketing.
