Special 2-Hour Show with Panel of Poets

    in Self Help

In celebration of National Poetry Month, we've brought together a panel of 4 poets to share their poetry in a 2-hour special.

National Poetry Month was inspired by the success of Black History Month, held each February, and Women's History Month, held in March. In 1995, the Academy of American Poets convened a group of publishers, booksellers, librarians, literary organizations, poets, and teachers to discuss the need and usefulness of a similar month long holiday to celebrate poetry. The first National Poetry Month was held in 1996. (courtesy of Wikipedia)

Our guest poets will read their works (as many as they wish during their segment); answer a question or two from host and hostess; and take questions or comments from you, the audience.

    Here's the line up:

    8:00-8:30:  Andresia RealshtzPoet; www.Facebook.com/RealshtzPoetry

    8:30-9:00: LadyDivine; www.LadyDivineNC.com

Intermission: Kenya Eugene's song, My Joy; https://youtu.be/HsKLdc8W1C0

9:00-9:30: Ci Ci Keenan; www.Facebook.com/CiCiKeenan and

9:30-10-00: Question and Answer open to the listeners
