Congratulations are in order! This is the 2nd anniversary of Jersey Coastal Live, and my guest is Gary Kilmer, Teacher of Theater and Dance at Asbury Park HS who was named Monmouth County Teacher of the Year. This Asbury Park resident and former Broadway performer was hired to ramp up the arts curriculum. Under Gary's direction, the theater department has flourished. He directed Footloose, Backstage, The Wiz, and Charlotte’s Web. The Wiz played last April (2012) to record-breaking crowds. The opening night’s attendance of 250 was twice the attendance of a typical opening night. The following Saturday, over 350 people showed up for the performance which started late because people were lined up to get in. The Dept of Theater and Dance is also celebrating their five 2012 Basie Award nominations from Count Basie Theater in Red Bank. Backstage! earned nominations for Best Set Design for a Drama, and students Alyssa Figueroa and Nate Fields were both nominated for Best Supporting Actor/Actress in a Drama. The Wiz was nominated for Best Costuming in a Musical and Best Lighting Design in a Musical.
The spring play will be Once on This Island. The subject matter is topical given the recent Hurricane Sandy. “It’s about a little girl who survives a hurricane and believes her life is destined for greatness because she’s been saved,” Kilmer said. It’s also about class struggles in Haiti. The show will be “a great fit for this student body,” said Kilmer. Students from the marching band learned the steel drums to add to the island influenced soundtrack. Let's catch up with Gary and find out why he did cartwheels down Sunset Ave and what else he has in store for his students. After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.

Filthy jews own and control most media, if not all of it. They provide round the clock "Black Propaganda" and outright lies about everything, that is, if they want to talk about it. When a topic is too hot to discuss, they simply ignore it completely and inundate "our airwaves" with trivia and more jew bullshit. If that isn't bad enough, viewers must look at a bunch of monkeys, mestizos, jews, and apes, who replaced most Whites as anchors and reporters. Occasionally we may see a token White in the mix, such as a ditzy blonde, but Barbie will eventually bite the dust, just like Ken before her. The Whites who remain in the media are blatant traitors and sellouts.

what was your favorite batman movie when the first four came out with batman, batman returns, batman forever and batman and robin. i grew up with these movies when they first came out and when each one came out they were sold out. u had to wait in lines to get in and see one even keaton first one. when the first one came out in summer of 89 dc comics was on to something after superman 78 came out. yes they where a batman movie out before with adam west in the 60's but that was low buget movie and it was heading into the next season of the batman tv show from the 60's. but warner bothers wanted a big buget batman movie like chris reeve superman movie and boy did they get it when it came out in 89 with all star cast. and then more batman movies came out like batman returns where he had to face the catwoman and penguin. and for batman forever it was the riddler and two-face but they also brought in batman sidekick dick grayson aka robin. batman and robin villains where mr freeze, posion ivy and bane. and i think they rush it when batman forever was a hit at the movies and val kilmer was batman. so when they rush it they took out val and put in someone else george in the bat suite and it remind me of old 60's batman movies. but the all time best one to me is batman with keaton as batman and jack as the joker. but to this day kids today think bale movies where awesome but like i said before only one i will watch is heath ledger as the joker. that only one. but i wonder how ben movies as batman is going be when he teams up with superman for world finest and justice league movie.

On this week’s edition of Scottscope Talk Radio, the roundtable will indulge in a “freestyle session. “ All manner of topics will be up for discussion. We’ll talk about Kendrick Lamar’s now infamous “Control” verse. We’ll also be talking about how so many of this year’s Summer Blockbusters underperformed at the North American box office. How will Ben Affleck measure up as the new Batman? Can he possibly be any worse than Val Kilmer or George Clooney? Have the television shows on basic cable become more interesting than theatrically released films? These and other random topics will be discussed on tonight’s Scottscope podcast!
