He also serves as the rhythmic poet of the hip hop fusion band "Mental Notes," where he uses his music to dissect the injustices facing the poor and oppressed, inspiring action on environmental and social justice in NYC and around the world.

Presently, he supports his imprisoned wife, Lynne Stewart,who is currently battling stage four breast cancer because of the lack of care she is receiving while in prison. Ralph is pushing for her immediate release to receive urgent medical care needed in hopes to prolong her life. Also joining us is Matt Meyer, a native New York City-based educator, activist, and author, whose human rights work with the War Resisters International and the International Peace Research Association has taken him to speaking engagements on five continents. Iyanna and Matt will be co-hosting the NYC Book Launch Event for "Maroon The Implacable" on Friday, May 3rd between 7-9:00P

Dick Stieglitz acquired his leadership skills during forty years’ experience in industry and the U.S. Navy. He earned a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and served ten years as a U.S. naval officer refueling nuclear submarines.
After leaving the Navy, he became Vice President of a software company, and Director of Defense Consulting for an aerospace firm. In 1984, Dick founded a company that helped executives in Federal agencies change how the government does business.
Since he sold that company in 2006, he has devoted his time to writing and executive coaching. He is the author of three books:
