She now lives in Alberta Canada on the Alexis Nakota First Nations Reserve and has lived there for 16 years. Since moving here her interest in Sasquatch has gone up to a new level. Winona has had some encounters in which she saw what might have been a Sasquatch cross the road with a baby one evening and has has sevral more including, hearing them slam into her house and what sounded like one speaking. Her children and other children visiting her house on the First Nations reserve have had sightings and heard vocals as well.

John Kirk is president of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club (BCSCC), and is the author of the award-winning book, In the Domain of the Lake Monsters. John is part of a team of investigators that have searched for cryptids such as Ogopogo, Sasquatch, Cadborosaurus, black alligators, unknown cameloids, lacustrean cryptids and giant salamanders in the province of British Columbia. John has ventured far afield in his quest for evidence for the mystery animals of the world in many areas of the world including Scotland, the Republic of Cameroon and the Republic of the Congo. John is a keen student of police methodologies and investigation techniques which he feels are very useful in the field of cryptozoological research. It is John’s hope that the day will come when cryptozoological researchers will be at the forefront of using technologies and equipment that are of the cutting edge variety in their search for cryptids.

SC EP:158 Face to face with a Sasquatch in British Columbia

    in Science

I will be speaking to Warren who is a tribal member from British Columbia. He was in the middle of no where on construction site and was working the night shift repairing the roads. He walked up to use the porta potty and thought one of his co-workers were walking up to scare him. He stepped out of the porta potty and hid in the bushes to get the jump on his co-worker when he jumped out to scare him he was face to face with a Sasquatch. Warren was just a few feet away from the creature. He said it vocalized at him in almost an irritated sound. It was a very cold night and he was so close he could see the hot air come out of its mouth. He describes the creatures eyes as having an amber color reflecting back from the moonlight. Warren said "I am 6'5 with my work boots on and this thing towered above me. We sat and looked at each other for what seemed like forever than the creature turned and walked away into the treeline. I heard it break a huge branch with its hands, I ran for my life." The encounter upset Warren so much that he quit that job the next day.

I will also be speaking to Norman who is from GA who had a daytime road crossing. He was heading home on a back country road when a Sasquatch crossed in front of him. Norman says "This thing only took 3 steps to get across a two lane highway."

    Join me tonight!

Emancipation of Slaves in the British Virgin Islands, Rebroadcasting

    in Culture

The British Virgin Islands, part of a volcanic archipelago in the Caribbean, is a British overseas territory comprising 4 main islands and many smaller ones. Tortola is home to the low-key capital, Road Town, and rainforested Sage Mountain National Park. On Virgin Gorda is The Baths, a labyrinth of beachside boulders.

The abolition of slavery occurred on 1 August 1834, and to this day it is celebrated by a three day public holiday on the first Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in August in the British Virgin Islands. The original emancipation proclamation hangs in the High Court. However, the abolition of slavery was not the single event that it is sometimes supposed to have been. Emancipation freed a total of 5,792 slaves in the Territory, but at the time of abolition, there were already a considerable number of free blacks in the Territory, possibly as many as 2,000.

In January 1808, HMS Cerberus seized the American schooner, the Nancy with a cargo of enslaved Senegalese Africans in the Territory's waters; between August 1814 and February 1815 a further four ships' slave cargoes were seized from the Venus, the Manuella, the Atrevido and the Candelaria and a further 1,318 liberated slaves were deposited on Tortola's shores (of whom just over 1,000 survived).

In 1819, a Portuguese slave ship, the Donna Paula, was wrecked upon the reef at Anegada. The ship's crew and 235 slaves were saved from the wreckage. Further Spanish ships, enroute to Puerto Rico were reported wrecked on the reef at Anegada in 1817 and 1824, and their cargos settled on Tortola.

Although many of these former slaves died due to the appalling conditions that they were kept in during the transatlantic crossing, a large number survived, and had children. - Courtesy of wikipedia.org

American Daily Review: The Obama Doctrine Whirlwind

    in Politics Conservative

The British spoil the global Greenapalooza party while Obama bleeps coal; Louisiana turns "blue"; The Iranians multitask by simulating the "liberation" of Jerusalem and hacking the State Department at the same time; Illegal aliens continue gushing across U.S. southern border; Seventh Circuit unconstitutionally declares Wisconsin abortion law unconstitutional while total annual abortions continue to decline; How Kamala Harris is the senator California deserves; Hillary Clinton snubs MoveOn.org; Girls join homosexuals in destruction of Boy Scouts; The Ferguson Effect hits Chicago; and the Obama White House is hindering all investigations and withholding all records at the same time that it moves to illegally close Gitmo by imperial decree.

And then, in the third hour of the Saturday Afternoon Extravaganza on Constitution Radio with JASmius on KMET 1490-AM (4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific):

NATO member Turkey shoots down second Russian warplane in a month; Marco Rubio, not Ted Cruz, is the REAL ObamaCare-slayer; Ted Cruz overtaking Ben Carson and Donald Trump in Iowa; ACLU sues Indiana Governor Mike Pence to force Syrian "refugee" invasion on "living, breathing" constitutional grounds; and "smart power" (aka The Obama Doctrine) comes home to roost.

Unwelcome Guests #724 "Calling a SCAD, a SCAD"

    See: http://www.unwelcomeguests.net/UNWELCOME_GUESTS

PARTIAL SUMMARY: Our main talk this week is a 90 minute lecture by Professor Lance deHaven-Smith. His lecture is relaxed and he takes occasional questions from the audience. He begins his talk by outlining the difficulties he has had finding US publishers for his work. While peer reviewers rarely challenged its quality, US journals in particular were loathe to publish it, apologetically turning him away. He explains this by its forthrightness, and he names Chris Hedges and Noam Chomsky as two individuals who while they do not shy away from drawing attention to the misdeeds of the leaders of the US government, are nevertheless reluctant to explicitly call them crimes - never mind to face the truth of false flag attacks. Many government leaders, he says are not merely morally deficient, they are criminals and murderers - and we should face up to that.
