You Can Run, but You Can't Hide

    in Lifestyle

Have you ever played hide and seek? The idea is for you to hide and for the person who is "it" will attempt to find you after counting to a specific number. Once found, the player is chased and if they are not fast will be tagged and become it. The object of the game is to get to base without being tagged. Better yet, to not even be found.

Adam and Eve did this in the garden after they sinned. In Genesis 3, Adam speaks to the LORD and says, "I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself."  Why? Because of sin. Many times in our lives we don't want things exposed. We prefer to keep our sin locked away or hidden in a special compartment. We hide as if we're playing Hide and Go Seek with God.

On today's broadcast our discussion continues in Galatians 5:19 -21 as we uncover those things that has us entangled and weighed down. In the words of boxing legend Joe Lewis, "You can run but you can't hide." It's time to take an honest assessment of your life through the looking glass of God's word.

CO-HOST MARK CASTRILLON & SPECIAL GUEST ROCK STAR PHOTOGRAPHER MICHAEL STRIDER

    in Entertainment

SPECIAL GUEST IS ROCK STAR PHOTOGRAPHER MICHAEL STRIDER: Odds are, you’ve seen some of Michael Strider’s photos. Rather than channeling his passion for rock music into a guitar, Strider chose the camera, and for the past twenty years he has been shooting the likes of KISS, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna. Strider has found a way to capture the lifeblood of a rock star in the climax of his/her performance. Now he incorporates the same style in his ever-expanding portfolio of actors, musicians, and dignitaries, and as an employee of Getty Images. “Rock ‘n Roll is an essence that can be incorporated into any shoot, whether it is a rock star, supermodel or an actor,” Strider says. His singular aesthetic, and discerning method of photography has guaranteed him a lasting authority in the industry. - See more at: striderimage.com

SPECIAL COHOST WILL BE SINGER/SONGWRITER/PRODUCER MARK CASTRILLON  You can pretty much catch me playing somewhere around Southern California on any given night of the week. Diversity is the name of the game. From swanky Hotel Bars like the BEVERLY-WILSHIRE FOUR SEASONS, FOUR SEASONS (BEVERLY HILLS) or the “Famous” Polo Lounge inside the BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL, to beautiful Fashion Island in Newport Beach, I am what some would call the Acoustic Troubadour, a dying breed, with nothing but guitar and voice in hand. I have been requested and had the pleasure of performing for such such artists as; JOHNNY DEPP, JON BON JOVI, PAT MONAHAN (Train), KEITH URBAN, NICOLE KIDMAN, KENNY CHESNEY, WHITNEY HOUSTON, MICK FLEETWOOD (Fleetwood Mac), TOM CRUISE, KATIE HOLMES, KATHERINE HEIGL, PAULA ABDUL.

THEY BOTH JOIN TAKE 2 RADIO ON TUESDAY, JANUARY 27TH AT 9PM EASTERN TIME!

TOPIC: "THE BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY”

DC REAL TALK LIVE RADIO SHOW – TUESDAY NIGHT, JANUARY 27, 2015 FROM 10:00PM TO 12:00AM. (EST) – Have you ever wondered why your family treats your brothers or sisters better than they treat you? It hurts doesn’t it? They talk to your other siblings more often than they do you. They’re always in on the information and you’re always the last to know. When you ask them to do something they give you an excuse, but always make a way out of no way for your other brothers and sisters. While this shouldn’t happen in families, it happens all the time and it hurts. Join us on Tuesday evening with Kelsi M Arceneaux, David Massey Sr., Tony L BWord, and others as we discuss this topic. You’re more than welcome to call in and share your specific situation with us. You can listen to our show by phone at (646) 721-9565 or anywhere in the world by internet.
