St. Anselm famously described theology as "faith seeking understanding." All of us are called to Faith by Christ, and we all want to understand what we believe and why as Catholics. These days there is much confusion regarding the Catholic Faith and so it becomes even more important for each of us to deepen our Faith and study theology. Join us as host David Rodriguez (M.Th.) takes us through traditional sources of our Basic Catholic Faith: the Sacred Liturgy, the Sacred Scriptures, the Fathers, Doctors and Saints of the Church, the encyclicals of the Popes, and the Roman Catechism edited by St. Charles Borromeo and published under Pope St. Pius V. This series focuses on the Creed, The Sacraments, The Ten Commandments, and the Life of Prayer. Listeners may also call in with their questions as each session includes time for Q&A. This program is sponsored by the St. Vincent Ferrer Foundation of Texas, dedicated to recovering and restoring of our traditional Catholic Faith.
If you have questions or comments for our host, Mr. David Rodriguez, please feel free to contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are interested in other classes offered by him on CD Audio or mp3 format please also contact him directly for a listing of available titles.

The Voice of Change welcomes AMos Clifford to speak on: Eros in the outdoors: the healing practice of forest bathing.
Amos Clifford is a wilderness guide, deep nature connection mentor, and ecotherapist living in Sonoma County. He is a leading advocate in the United States for the practice known in Japan as shinrin yoku, or “forest bathing.” Amos has been leading people into natural settings for over 40 years, developing ways to quickly connect people with an ancestral awareness of the more-than-human world. He holds a masters in counseling from the University of San Francisco and is the founder of Sky Creek Dharma Center, Infinite Wild, the Center for Restorative Process, and shinrin-yoku.org.
Forest bathing, known as “shinrin yoku” in Japan, is the practice of opening our senses to the natural environment for an immersive experience with a wide range of research-validated healing effects. But does it also have implications for sustainability? Amos Clifford, the presenter, thinks so. “The foundation of sustainability is not in discovering new technologies; it is in re-establishing our relationships with nature,” Clifford says. This program will reveal a powerful set of practices for promoting wellness in people and the environment.
Join Elusive1 & Henry May as they welcome for the first time David Moomey & returningguest Jim Whitehead . Jim has lived his entire life in the crosstimbers of McClain county in an area with a local legend about a monster that roams the creek. He grew up hearing of his families encounters with the creature. He always had a love of science and dad and grandpa taught him about the woods in the old choctaw ways. He went on to go to college, getting degrees in Biology, and Natural science.. He ran into a bigfoot one day in the bottoms and decided to learn more about the creature, turning his skills as a woodsman/ tracker and as a biologist to researching bigfoot. After independently researching bigfoot for about a year, Jim joined the MABRC and as the membership in the western region of Oklahoma grew, the group decided to promote him as the Western State Director in 2009, And he has held the position ever since. The primary goal of the MABRC Western Oklahoma Team is not necessarily finding proof, but rather studying these creatures and learning about their behaviors and needs. Daveid Grew up in central Okla, He joined the Marines when he completed High School. Moved back after 4 yrs, He didnt know he had these things around him growing up but after he started researching he realized they were there while he was growing up and it all exsplains why he alwasy was scared when he went into the woods. He take his 2 younget boys out with him alot of the times to research, they are getting really good. He has with the MABRC for almost 3 yrs now and he does research with Jim when ever he can.
