Friday, February 7, 1964 began the renaissance of ‘rock ‘n’ roll music in America as the Beatles landed at the JFK airport in New York City and became the vanguard of the British Invasion. The Timmons Brothers will analyze and review the contemporary reports of 1964 and the skepticism that surrounded the possibility of success for British artists in the United States. Such questions as timing, the music landscape and the type of artist before 1964 will be addressed and why 1964r may be the benchmark year in rock’s history.
My special guests on Partners in Biz this Saturday are fashion promoters Doug and Kevin Lawrence. The Lawrence Brothers and I discuss their upcoming East Coast fashion show: ICON, The Future of Fashion, and their journey to become successful entrepreneurs.
Today, the Lawrence Brothers are one of the nation's leading hair and fashion marketing companies, which has built a reputable brand by providing a platform for Virginia and Maryland-based hair stylists, barbers, models and fashion designers to showcase their amazing talents. Known for their large scale hair and fashion shows, that attracted well over 5,000 spectators last year, Lawrence Brothers Promotions will once again solidify why they have become the leading producers of hair and fashion entertainment with the highly anticipated ICON, The Future of Fashion show scheduled for September 28, 2014, at the Valley Forge Casino and Resort in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Born in England and moving to the United States, Philip Adrian and Christopher Saint Booth started their work in feature films in the art department. They gradually worked their way up, learning the editing and production aspects of film making. While learning about fims, they continued their music careers, playing in a rock and roll band. Being on the road and playing music gradually lost it appeal, and these twin brothers continued to learn their film making trade, eventually becoming CEOs of "Spooked Television" for the Sci Fi Channel. They currently work at producing films that investigate real life ghost stories. They also do their own original music for these films. Of their work, they say that one is the eyes and one is the ears, reflecting on the colateration of the brothers in creating these films. Among their awar winning films are Children of the Grave and Children of the Grave II, The Possessed, The Haunted Boy, Soul Catchers and Spooked: The Ghosts of Waverly Hills.

The Wardlaw Brothers on NiACOM Platform Tonight @ 7pm CST!!!
When thinking of 5 biological brothers that have made a huge impact on the world through music, two names automatically come to mind: The Jackson 5 and The Winans. Now, with a unique and extraordinary blend of vocal harmony, emerge five brothers known as THE WARDLAW BROTHERS (TWB).
Dubbed the “Boyz II Men of Gospel”, TWB consists of four lead singers, and one dynamic bass man. The eldest brother, Carl Anthony “Tony” has the traditional, soulful voice. Martin Luther “Lute” is the lead vocalist with a voice that speaks to the spirit. He is also the primary songwriter, musician and producer. “Jamie” Cornelius is the melodious bass man that defines TWB’s distinctive sound while Carl III “Carlo” melds in the urban/hip hop flavor. Lastly,Rodney Allen “Baby Boy”, contributes the smooth, serene voice of the five. Georgia natives, TWB are the sons of Rev. and Mrs. Carl Wardlaw Jr. who taught their children early that ministry was a part of life.
Over the years, with the discovery and nurturing of gifts, music ministry evolved. But, whether assisting others in need or mentoring troubled youth, TWB take pride in helping others and do not compromise that which was inspired by their parents.
They began to revise the original songs they sang as youth and sculpt their own distinctive brand of harmony and acclimation. The brothers realized how God had blessed them and they began composing their own songs.

He subsequently earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Concord University School of La Donna Porter w.

While still living in Cincinnati, Jasper's older sister, Elaine, married Rudolph Isley and the vocal trio formed by the three older brothers, Rudolph, Ronald and O'Kelly, subsequently relocated to Teaneck, New Jersey.
