She is a personal life coach, a fabulous singer, a magnificent speaker, and now an inspiring author. She has overcome some of life's greatest challenges and shares her struggles and triumphs with others facing the need to move ahead.
Suzette's book "The Sound of My Life" is her personal story from living in the background to knowing that her dreams matter. The background is described as not living life on your terms, living somebody else's dream rather than your own, you are undervalued, overworked and underpaid. Most of all, your life is not fulfilling. The Sound of My Life encourages everyone to examine their lives and tune into the sound of their authentic voice. Knowing is power. When you know that your dreams matter, you stop allowing other things to take precedence. The Sound of My Life shines a light so bright on your dream that you can no longer justify not going after it. Ellen teaches creative writing at Hofstra University and runs an online mentoring group for women authors. She has served as editor for a literary magazine and currently does public speaking about her books and other writing-related issues. She is working on her fifth novel.
