    A Command To Wait

    in Religion

Please join me Tuesday March 24th at 11am CST  as we talk about how Jesus commanded His followers to wait for what The Father  had promised. He made a distinction between  the different baptisms. ( Look at Acts 19)

Obviously He knew we needed to be endued with His power to be witnesses. The Scripture is very clear , that this is a supernatural harvest, done supernaturally, by the power of The Spirit. Clearly laid out in scripture. He knew we would have supernatural enemies. He gave us supernatural weapons. ( Ephesians 6)  For the Commission He gave , for it to be successful, it has to be done His way.

Traditions and opinions won't accomplish the mission. His instructions , by His power through us will.

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; (Acts 1:4)

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." (Acts 1:5)

    Why?

but you will receive power whenthe Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."(Acts 1:8)

    BLESSED TO BE BROKEN!

    in Religion

Why does it seem like the more you try to do what is right and live a life that is pleasing to God, the more chaotic life's circumstances seem to get? God's Ways are not like ours and we must learn to embrace the Mind of God concerning every aspect of our lives. Whenever Jesus blessed, He also broke! Are you blessed? Then, you must know what it is like to be broken! God is the Master of mending broken pieces. He IS the Potter, remember? We have a lot to talk about!

John Carver Show - Why the Wait???

    in Religion

Maybe life’s “delays” are meant for us to exhaust every human means possible?!?!

    Eric Speir writes:
In studying the lives of these great people, I've discovered 4 reasons God makes us wait:
    1. Waiting Reveals Our True Motives
Waiting has a way of bringing out the best and worst in people. People who don't have good motives won't wait long because they're not interested in the commitment it takes to see something through. They're too interested in short-term gains or success.
Most of us have good intentions, but a lot of what we want to accomplish is an attempt to make a name for ourselves or for our own egos. It hurts to say this, but it's often true.
    2. Waiting Builds Patience In Our Lives
Patience in waiting for small things leads to having patience in the bigger things. If we can't wait for God to do a small thing, we certainly can't wait for something bigger.

    3. Waiting Builds Anticipation
Why do children get so excited around Christmas? Because the wait has produced anticipation. We tend to appreciate things the longer we have to wait for them.
    4. Waiting Transforms Our Character
Waiting has a way of rubbing off the rough edges of our lives. Most of us know the story of Moses delivering the Israelites from the Egyptians. It's a grand story of God doing great miracles.

We married in 1988 and began our family in 1998.  Those ten years were very long and painful.  There was a purpose in the waiting.  We just didn’t see it or want to see it at the time.

One of the biggest difficulties, for some, is to keep moving forward while you wait…to constantly be learning in the waiting room.

Do you take opportunities to learn something while you wait?

IN MEMORY OF OUR BLESSED & BODACIOUS REV. DR. PAULETTE STEVENS

    in Motivation

Join us as we celebrate the Life, Legacy and great contribution of Rev. Dr. Paulette Stevens the founder of the Blessed and Bodacious women ministry. Dr. Paulette Stevens will be greatly missed and she was loved by many and many were impacted by her ministry. She made her transition on Sunday March 1, 2015, doing what she loved to do and that was ministering to others. Dr. Paulette Stevens was a woman of God who had many gifts as Preacher, Pastor, Life Coach and Motivational Speaker. She founded the Blessed and Bodacious ministry to encourage and motivate women too fearlessly and passionately pursue the desires of God’s heart. She leaves behind a beautiful loving family and also hundreds of women who were positively impacted by her ministry. She indeed was a phenomenal woman of God and worthy to be recognized and honored. Join us to celebrate the life and great gift Dr. Stevens was to the Body of Christ. Hope to see you there. We welcome your sincere prayers and condolence’s for Dr. Paulette Stevens family.

From sisters and family of the Blessed and Bodacious Women’s Ministry.

God's purpose for your life is that you would become like His Son, Jesus Christ! Stop emulating others and trying to do what someone else is doing and surrender to God's plan for your life. His plan is is uniquely designed for you and much bigger than anything you could ever imagine and it can only be accomplished by total abandonment and trust in Him. No one has seen what God has prepared for those who love Him! Do you love Him enough to trust Him with your whole life? If yes, then do it! And let the real journey began! #‎BlessedAndBodacious---Dr. Paulette Stevens.

DOES MAN HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HIS JUDGE?

    in Religion

Does man have the right to choose his Judge? .. his own Maker?   BLESSED is he the JUDGE of JUDGES CHOOSES!   For if you know what it means to say, "SALVATION is by FAITH"; you know that this WHOLE WORLD for MANY GENERATIONS has been LYING to US ALL!   Indeed!   Since the WORD of the JUDGE is what was FOREORDAINED from the BEGINNING, ALL that men have trusted after the FALLEN EARTHLY CONSCIENCE, has been an OBSTACLE against the AWAKENING unto TRUE PEACE!   Or dare men say it is FAIR that men be JUDGED by OTHER than YAH?   YAH CHOOSES whom HE WILL and finds WORTHY as a VESSEL of HIS REMEMBRANCE!  Blessed are they who hearing the WORD of HIS CALL will know and persevere to respond WISELY! (Joel 2:32, 2Peter 1:1-<10-12>-<19-21 .. Isaiah 65:1-<11-25>-<66:1-<6-15)

Isa 41:9  You whom I have chosen from the ends of the earth, Icalled you from among the prophets, and said unto you, You are My servant; I have chosen you, that you not be cast away.  10  Fear not; for I am with you: be not dismayed; for I am your Savior: I will strengthen you; yea, I will help you; yea, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

John 15:16  "You did not choose Me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you.  17  "This I command you, that you love one another.

Rom 9:18  So then HE has mercy on whom HE desires, and HE  hardens whom HE desires.

BLESSED ARE WHO WILL BE TRUE TO HIS INVITATION UNTO CONSECRATION!    FOR YAH WILL CONFIRM AS HIS OWN THEM WHO HE COUNTS TO BE THE MOST FAITHFUL!  HALLELU'YAH!
