"Maat Hotep" family as all ways getting ready for another bout on "Conversations with Intelligent Black Men" Tonight we're focusing our show on our most special occasion "Kwanzaa" and so the topic tonight is called "Kwanzaa a need for Black Unity!!!"
We as a black people have made many accomplishments with one exception "Unity" we still struggle being a united people as black people let alone an Afrikan united front in any way of the word. We can't even agree on our own Afrikan holiday as many so called Afrikan Ameri-k.k.k.-ans we still so far have along way to go before we can be considered a people to be respected when we can't respect each other let alone our Afrikan heritage. This to me is soooo sad and renders much understanding why other ethic races have no respect for us when we can't unify even over "Kwanzaa"

Wake Up Everybody! Tonight's episode is "Unity in the Community", a conversation on youth gun violence with guests Sean Pryor, Founder of Guns Down and Andre T. Mitchell, Founder/Executive Director of Man Up! Inc.
It is no secret that there is a crisis of youth gun violence in our communities across this country. On average, 33,000 Americans are killed with guns each year, and the burden of this violence falls disproportionately on young people: 54 percent of people murdered with guns in 2010 were under the age of 30.
What can we do about it? Who should we hold accountable? What are some solutions and strategies to prevent gun violence and the destruction of our communities? How can we become a part of the solution instead of sitting on the sidelines complaining and being only a part of the problem? How do we call for unity in the community on this issue?

Our basic format and structure is from a black male centered discussion, but we welcome female guest and bloggers input. We feel the need to fill the void in the family discussed from a male centered viewpoint.
This show explores and addresses the disparaging rates of decline of the Black Family today and historically.
We will address the Incarceration rates through the Prison Pipeline. We welcome the victims of this system to call-in. ie... Inmates or the offspring of the inmates and the mates of these so-called offenders.
We will address the so called dead beat dads and why has the system stereotyped most black men into this definition and labeled them such.
We address the changing state of affairs with the global economic fluctuations and how it directly negatively impacts the black family.
We will also present the positive aspects of the Black family today from marriages to successful dating and successful parenting from conventional multiple parent homes to successful sinlge parent setup.
We will also discuss how the childsupport works and what it expects from us as males and what the child needs and the female mother of the child needs and how we can bridge the gap as men.
We will have deep spiritual discussions as it relates to our historic role as male role models through our historic and traditional spirituality and how we can lead our families from it.
The children really are the future of the Black Community, but are Black parents preparing their kids for success or failure? Are they doing enough or is it more that they could be doing? A BLACK LIONS PRODUCTION (619) 924-9883
Brought to you by Abruptly Wake Up the Sleeping
For over four hundred years the Stolen Afrikan in AmeriKKKa has been robbed of the ancestry, their Afrikan spirituality, their science and their Story, they have been uprooted and are quickly dying.
THE FINAL WAKE UP CALL:
The results of governmental institutional racism & genocide are chaotic; single parent households, unwed mothers, incarceration coupled with mis-education and the under educated have practically destroyed the black family. Their right minds are being destroyed with religion, drug addition, the prison & education system.
The continuous bombardments of the court systems manipulation and negative media influence have taken a toll targeted on black children, men and women.
Society has brainwashed the black women into believing that they don't need their black men.
Our women don't believe this because they refuse to see their own reflection, which is their black man because society has convinced the black females to destroy the only true hope for their survival....The Black Man!
The Black Lions are here to help our women experience the presence of a man so they do not try to defunct his true nature.
The Black Lions are here to take back our communities, businesses, families & kin our children and our women.
...Maybe then our black women will discover that A Black Man was all she really needed in the first place.
We need our women by our side in the revolution.
