The Spring Cleaning Beverly refers to is really “detoxification.” Considering the amount of toxins in our food, water, air, cleaning supplies, skin care products, etc., it’s amazing that most people function without doing any kind of detoxification. That’s because our body has a wonderful detoxification system – liver, kidneys, lungs, colon and skin. However, because we’re bombarded with toxins almost daily (thanks to chemistry and technology – neither of which we can, or want to, eliminate), our detoxification system becomes overloaded and incapable of handling all the toxins. That’s why there are so many detoxification products and programs. How can you know what’s right for you? And what about your mind? Considering all our fears, stresses, anxieties, worries, etc., we also collect mental and emotional “garbage” on a daily basis. What can we do about this? What’s a healthy “spring cleaning” for our mind?

It's that time of year again...time to "Spring Clean." The temperatures are warmer and you can easily open up your windows and air out those musty "Winter Blues." Time to go through your warmer clothes and switch them out for the cooler ones. Get those "dust bunnies" out from behind the couch and around the curtains. Maybe even go through some of that junk that you never know what to do with and have a yard sale or donate it to a charity, friend or family member in need.
