What are "ghosts"? A biblical perspective..

    in Religion

Dana Emanuel explains what "ghosts" are, from a biblical perspective...
There are many beliefs on what the "paranormal" is, some believe they are loved ones that have passed on, or dead people that have "unresolved issues", or residual hauntings from past traumatic events that replay periodically, etc. What I would like to do is to go through these beliefs and compare those with what the bible says about them, and how we are, or are not, to react to them. I was in the paranormal field for 15 years, before I finally found the truth. While I was searching for ghosts, Jesus was reaching out to me trying to reveal the truth to me...  Thank God I finally listened.

Biblical Composition Of A Pulpit Committee - Who Chooses The Next Pastor? (2)

    in Christianity

Many local churches are in desperate need of a good pastor and are presently seeking to secure the services of one.  But how does a local assembly go about selecting a shepherd in the midst of so many forthcoming and seemingly qualified candidates?  What is the screening process by which a new minister gets selected and who forms part of the so-called "Selection" or "Pulpit Committee"?  This mini course is designed to provide the biblical answers to all those tough questions.  No church elder, trustee, deacon or member should ignore this two hour study.

Students MUST request the corresponding outline for each lecture.  Outlines will not be sent out automatically.  Students can request the outlines by e-mailing us at iibbms@hotmail.com and providing the COMPLETE TITLE and DATE of lecture.

The International Institute Of Biblical & Ministerial Studies is entirely listener supported.  It is suggested that for EACH lecture and accompanying outline the student give a $10.00 love offering.  All donations are greatly appreciated and ensures that the institution remain financially solvent and serving the Body of Christ on a global scale for years to come.

The International Institute Of Biblical & Ministerial Studies is a ministry of Love Remnant Tabernacle Radio Church.

John Carver Show - It's ALL Perspective

    in Self Help

One of the most difficult things, in life, to grasp is perspective.  That is, to look at your situations from multiple angles.  In this show that is what I will be discussing.  Some of what I will be sharing includes:

Perspective is not what we see, but the way we see it. [Kent Crockett, I Once Was Blind, But Now I Squint, Chattanooga, TN: AMG Publishers, 2004, 14]

“What we see depends mainly on what we look for.” ? John Lubbock

“The older you get, the more you understand how your conscience works. The biggest and only critic lives in your perception of people's perception of you rather than people's perception of you.” ? Criss Jami

“Remember, you see in any situation what you expect to see.” ? David J. Schwartz

    Attitude

William James said: “The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitude of mind.”

    Dear Friend:

As I circle overhead, I can see that you are about to give up. It looks to you as though there is no way up and no way out. You feel trapped, with no place to turn. I understand. You see, I have been there. I also, walked where you walk, and I, too, experienced the feelings you are experiencing now. I have dropped this letter and this map to encourage you. There IS a way of escape. What I can see from MY vantage point you cannot see from yours.

To you, that boulder is immovable and unscalable. From down there it would appear that way. But flying overhead, it becomes apparent that just to your right, at the edge, what appears to be a massive crack in that rock, is, in effect, a passage way. You see, someone has been there before you, and made the way for you...

    ...and much more

    A Different Perspective

    in Politics Conservative

Bill has taken and out of town trip today and offered up his air time this morning, instead of rebroadcasting and older show I decided to bring you!

A Different Perspective with your host today David Meola from American Patriot Radio filling in for Mr. Pickles, we are going to here from two different doctors first, Dr. John Rengen Virapen, former Eli Lilly & Co executive who after 35 years of service decided to quit and speak out about Big Pharma’s method for profit and the benefit of symptomatic diseases that people live with for the duration of their lives.

This conference took place in Germany so every so often you will hear a quick word from the translator sorry for the poor editing.

Follow Dr.Virapen is another Doctor that was at that same conference her name is Dr. Rima E Laibow M.D., Doctor Rima’s resume is long and I highly recommend you look her up as she has several videos on youtube.  Her topic today is called Codex Alimentarius explaining the depopulation plans and why in the Elitist mind this makes perfect sense.

You decide for yourself here on A Different Perspective.
