    EP26: More Police Insanity, NSA 9/11 Cover-Up & More

    in Current Events

Join Crafty, The Adamizer & Bax as they dissect and discuss news, issues, events and the people involved on all sides. Politics, economics, history, social issues, religion, entertainment, media, music, comedy, technology....from the serious to the sublime, from around the globe to around the corner, the Front Row Boys don't shy away from anything. Our modest goals here are to ask the tough questions, discover the truth as best we possibly can, pass that on you the listener and whenever possible, talk to as many of you good freaks out there that we can. When we say, "join us for the discussion", we mean it! What we want most during this podcast is to hear from all of you and what's going on in your part of this thing we call the Freak Show.

Along the way we'll play plenty of great clips not just from the people making the news or front and center of the issues but those behind the scenes as well. We also like to mix it up each and every week by getting a groove on with a song and having a few laughs with some comedy.

So, Tune In, Peace Out & Get That Freak On!!!

Perils of the Pastors Wife with Nan Jones on Christian Devotions Speak UP!

    in Christianity

Join us this week on Christian Devotions SPEAK UP! when host Scott McCausey discusses the difficult role of the pastor’s wife with Nan Jones.

Nan Jones is an author/speaker who uses the words of her heart to assist fellow Christians in discovering the presence of God in their darkest hour. Her devotional blog, Morning Glory, has become a place of community for Christians to find encouragement in God’s Word and comfort in His presence. She has been published in several anthologies, as well as the online inspirational sites Christian Devotions and Inspire a Fire.

She is thrilled to announce her debut book, The Perils of a Pastor’s Wife, released June 30, 2015 by Lighthouse Publishing of the Carolinas. When Nan is not writing, she enjoys leading prayer retreats, Bible studies, or sharing God’s love as keynote speaker for special events. She is becoming known by her brand, Even so, I walk in the Presence of the Lord, as she teaches her audience to go beyond the veil to find God’s presence.

Reverend Raven is a messenger between the higher self and the sub consciousness of oneself. She brings light into a dark situation. From a young age she has had contact beyond the realm of earth with higher spirit and brought forth a loving, truthful message when someone was basking in the darkness. She has encouraged change not only for an inward introspection of one’s self but for the planet as well. She brings a light to people to face their fears and to radiate from a loving space.

"Up Close & Personal" with Bassist "John Dillard"

    in Music

Profusely talented and highly gifted.Born and raised in Rochester, NY, John was surrounded by music that helped shape his particular style of playing. John credits his early influences to his father. John’s musical journey started when he was eight years old. John gives credit to other heavy influences aside from family members such as Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, Dave Holland, Ron Carter, John Patitucci, Nathan East, Fred Hammond, and Joel Smith. They drove his growth, resulting in a deeper love and dedication to the art of being a bassist. When asked about his greatest influences, John’s response is always: “Too many to name and enough to keep me humble and always practicing.”
Whether John is playing electric, acoustic (upright) bass, or key bass, John can be found holding the groove on local stages in Charlotte, NC, his hometown, or performing on main stages across the country with national recording artists. In his career thus far, he has worked with gospel artist Lejuene Thompson, musical director for Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Stephanie Mills, contemporary jazz artists Brian Simpson, Matt Marshak, Jeff Kashiwa, Steve Cole, Walter Beasley, Nick Colionne, Marc Antoine, and Four80East. Additionally, John has earned Grammy certifications for his performances on EMI gospel projects “Oh Happy Day,” an All-Star Celebration (Best Traditional Gospel Album) and Heather Headley’s “Audience of One” (Best Contemporary R&B Gospel Album.) They were both won at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
