What should we have on our website? Bellingham SEO guy talks content

    in Internet

Are your customers finding your internet presence when searching for your service or products?

SEO expert in Bellingham, WA Tony McGarry discusses the basics of webpage optimization for being found online.

Will do a screen capture video along with this and will post it here.

Have you noticed that many small business websites look great but are not on the first page of google, yahoo or bing when a prospective customer decides to look for a house cleaner or opthamologist? For example. If the search results first page is mostly yelp, yellowpages, local yahoo, manta and other directories that's a sign that small business websites have an oppurtunity to make optimizations and move up and be found on page one by their future customers.

Here's the direct link for screen capture video referenced in this episode. http://youtu.be/1gpnq0CzxW8

How to get your webpage found online, SEO Expert Bellingham

    in Internet

Are your customers finding your internet presence when searching for your service or products?

SEO expert in Bellingham, WA Tony McGarry discusses the basics of webpage optimization for being found online.

Many small business websites look great but are not on the first page of google, yahoo or bing when a prospective customer decides to look for a carpet cleaner or dentist for example. If the search results first page is mostly yelp, yellowpages, local yahoo, manta and other directories that's a sign that small business websites have an oppurtunity to make optimizations and move up and be found on page one by their future customers.

Google can even show different search results when a user is doing a local business search on a mobile device. On such a small screen as a smart phone, it is easiest for a user to tap to call the first result which is a paid ad and has the tap to call button within. With 50% of mobile searches being for a local business, who do you think is getting the call?

    Epiphany's House Welcomes Wil Gibson...

    in Poetry

There are some artists who are just rooted in your soul..who make no bullshyt excuses.....who just get right down to it...Wil Gibson is THAT artist... I promise..

Wil Gibson was born from a good idea and a bottle of bourbon. He was raised in some of the poorest communities northern Illinois and eastern Arkansas have to offer. He now lives in Portland (the one in Maine) and likes it a lot there (you probably would too). He writes too many love poems and not nearly enough of his novel. A proud (mistake prone) father of four who tries real hard and is still growing up.
He has performed with or opened for; Regie Gibson (no relation), Charlie Neville, Brother Ali, mybrightestdiamond, Toki Wright, Patricia Smith, and Kurtis Blow (among others) in dive bars, high schools, colleges, poetry slams, libraries, living rooms, restaurants, prisons, coffee houses, and churches from Bellingham, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts and beyond.
He was runner up at the 2010 and 2011 Arkansas Grand Slam, audience favorite 2010 Arkansas Grand Slam, three time (2008-2010) Portland, Maine/Port Veritas Grand Slam Champion, 2010 New Hampshire/Slam Free or Die Grand Slam Champion, has represented Portland, Maine six times (2008-2012, 2014) at the National Poetry Slam, including the 2011 team that made semifinals.
He has toured nationally solo and as part of:
Uncomfortable Laughter (w/ Beau Williams, Kait Rokowski, and Ryan McLellan)
guyslikeyou (w/ Beau Williams and Ryan McLellan)
is an honorary member of Chicago 4 Star Poetry(w/ Billy Tuggle, Andi Kauth, Rik Vazquez, Melanie “George” Decelles, Ashley Hart, and Patricia Smith)
and is a founding member of the Port Veritas artist collective.
He likes people and dogs a lot. He would like to pet your dog, talk to you a few minutes, and possibly give you a hug if that’s ok.
