The Business of Skin Care
The average life span of any type of salon is pretty short. So it takes some pretty savvy business smarts to have a successful skin care salon.
Justin interviews Elizabeth Burr, owner of the very successful skin care salon, Elizabeth Skin Care in Studio City, California.
Elizabeth has been in business for almost 20 years and has loved every minute. But she started her business out of very unique needs.
"I was a successful actress for many years until I developed adult onset acne while on a soap opera. Having acne is humiliating enough, but going through it on TV with producers and fans was devastating.
Despite the efforts of several doctors, nothing cleared my skin until an esthetician treated me. She gave me a series of peels in her salon and changed my home care routine. I was embarrassed about my appearance before she cleared me up. And when she did, it changed my life. Once my skin was clear again I said, “I want to do this!” Since then I have been happy educating myself and my clients as we practice great skin care together."

How can we enjoy our time outdoors and still be good to our skin?

Americans spend $10 Billion dollars per year on beauty products, and much more if you count personal grooming products. We focus on our external beauty often times more then our internal beauty. The Bible clearly state Charm and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain [because it is not lasting], but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the Lord, she shall be praised! Proverbs 31:30... This show will teach us how to take the mask off and deal w/ the true hidden issues w/ in.
Co host First Lady Earsel Pearl firmly believes in the scripture Hebrews11:6. During Lady Pearl's down time she can be found doing some of her favorite things like dancing before the Lord, singing, writing plays, styling hair and making jewelry to name a few. One thing that she believes is that you don't just mentor people by what you say, but you also mentor them by the way you walk. Her day to day goal is to strive to become more and more like her Savior. Lady Pearl is married to Pastor Robert E.
