Tonight's guest, Ben Schiller is a writer for Co.Exist, and also contributes to the FT and Yale e360. During Ben's first appearance on the program we discussed the Circular Economy and Floow2. One question we discussed is how the forces of capitalism which drive organizations to get products/services to the marketplace faster and cheaper can co-exist with the idea of a Circular Economy.
Today’s conversation will focus on organizations and marketplaces designed around shared purposes which help facilitate more equitable exchanges between participants. We will explore how these types of organizations and marketplaces can be one of the bridges that connect Capitalism and a Circular Economy.
Some of Ben’s articles that we'll discuss are:

Tonight’s guest is Dustin Fisher, who has written a book called Daddy Issues. The book is a funny, anecdotal account of the first year of Dustin's life with his new born daughter, Mabel. It's not necessarily about how to raise a child as much as it is about how a young, first-time father manages himself amidst all the pitfalls and road bumps anyone might face when trying to learn how to be a parent. Dustin is an author, a stand-up comedian, a story-teller, and runs his own blog that is all about being a stay-at-home father. His work has been published in the likes of the Huffington Post, the Good Men Project, and Baltimore Style magazine. According to Dustin, the minute his wife told him she was pregnant he made the scary decision to quit his job. So, in addition to the above mentioned past-times, Dustin is first and foremost the father of a healthy 2 year old daughter. Visit Dustin’s blog at http://daddyneedsanap.com/, where you can read his weekly updates and find links to all his upcoming events.
