Today we are talking about one of the most controversial stats in baseball, the win. With the uprising of sabermetrics in the baseball community, many baseball analysts, general managers and fans think that the win is an overrated stat when it comes to pitchers. The Baseball guys are back once again for their show hosted by Tom, Mike and Cody and tackle an array of subjects of local pro and college teams in the New England area.
It will be an all-baseball show with the topics being the new instant replay rules as well as the Tommy John surgery epidemic. Why many young pitchers are injuring their elbows and why so many great pitchers from earlier generation threw year after year without their careers being interrupted or ended by elbow ligament issues.
TOMMY JOHN FACTS
Four-time MLB All-Star pitcher known best for his remarkable recovery through elbow surgery that became known as Tommy John surgery.
He was a standout basketball player at Gerstmeyer High School in Indiana.
He won 288 games and struck out 2,245 batters during his career.
He married Sally John in 1970, with whom he had four children: Tamara, Tommy III, Travis and Taylor.
His 26-year playing record was broken by Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan.
We are back once again and plan to improve the show even further. A well prepared crew will tackle a wide range of baseball topics at a variety of pro levels.

Well this particular episode is kind of the pilot. It is meant to make sure everything is running smoothly on out condensed radio show. We will get to know the hosts a little bit and get into some sports talk.
