We'll Chat with Sean Barry, Founder of Heartstrings, About Making a Difference. Sean Barry has had his share of ups and downs during his life of service - somehow he always concetrates on the ups. He served in Vietnam as a medical corpsman and suffered from PTSD. But that hasn't stopped from continuing to give back. He volunteered after 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina and founded the organization, Heartstrings which helps repair old or broken musical intruments and give them to those who have lost them in a disaster or who cannot afford them.
And his message stays strong: "Live Longer: VOLUNTEER!" Folks have blogged about him and articles have been written.
Rayanne will chat with Sean about Heartstrings, the importance of volunteering, and his greatest lessons.
To learn more about Heartstrings, please email Sean at email@example.com or find him on Facebook!
Join us for an open conversation about the tenacity required when pursuing challenging dreams.
