Today we try to get psyched for the Ravens matchup with the Steelers tonight. Join Geoff Cowles and me as we try to figure out what the Ravens need to do to right the ship after a franchise history-worst, 0-3 start to the season. On the other side, the Orioles will be lucky if they can finish the season with a .500 record. And we should hear from Philly Jeff who is no doubt basking in the aftermath of an Eagles win last Sunday. Give us a call to join the conversation and let us know what you think about any of this and anything else! 323-410-0028...
Today Rob McQuay, Geoff Cowles and "Philly" Jeff are joined by Orioles' beat writer, Josh Michael of Orioles101.com. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Commerce with a minor in Applied Mathematics. In addition, Josh is pursuing his dream of being a sports writer and an avid baseball and football fan that is not afraid to state the facts, even for his beloved Baltimore Orioles.
Tonight we turn our attention to the Baltimore Orioles, who are coming off an AL East crown in 2014. Can the O's repeat as the division champs? Or will the loss of Nelson Cruz in free agency bring Baltimore back down, and allow the Red Sox and Yankees to catch up? We disucss.
Join hosts, Rob McQuay and Geoff Cowles as we discuss the latest soap opera, "As the Bird Turns," where pundits are expecting no better than a .500 season out the Orioles. Where oh where has Nelson Cruz gone, and how will that affect pitching to this lineup, specifically Adam Jones. How will Davis, Weiters and Machado rebound and much more. Call us to discuss any of this and whtever else is on your mind.

The Washington Nationals couldn't take advantage of four errors by the normally defensively proficient Baltimore Orioles, or a New York Mets' loss to the Atlanta Braves. The Nats missed an opportunity to pick up a game in the NL East as they dropped the series opener with the O's in the nation's capital. 4-1 final. But Bryce Harper took mad walks, bro. Mad walks, setting a Nats' single season record.
Join Ryan and Bill as they talk about the Baltimore Blast victory over the Syracuse SIlverKnights this past weekend and their upcoming match up agains the Waza Flo.
As always we will review scores from around the MASL and their impact on the standings.
