Join Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup as they return after a 2-week vacation to deliver the MLB SHOW, presented by Fanspeak.com and the Fanspeak Radio Network.
Tonight, Alan and Steve recap the first quarter of the baseball season by handing out the “Quarter Pole” awards. Who are the MVP’s, CY Young’s, Rookies of the Year and Managers of the year so far in the 2013 season? The guys from the MLB Show deliver their picks.
Which team(s) wins the award for biggest disappointment and which team(s) is this season’s biggest surprise. Alan and Steve will tell you. Also, do not miss some of the more interesting stats from the first quarter of the season, as Alan delivers the “According to Elias” segment.
The guys will then breakdown what has been up and down seasons for the Nationals and Orioles. With plenty of baseball remaining, can these two playoff teams from a year ago get back to playing post-season type of baseball?
As graduations are in full swing, Alan and Steve will help you get your fantasy baseball degree, as they deliver a new segment called "Fantasy 101". Let the guys take you to fantasy baseball school and tell which players you must start and sit for the upcoming games this week. The guys will also give you the heads up on players you should be looking for on the waiver wires.
You will also hear from Indians manager Terry Franconia as well as Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. Alan also has interviews from around the world of sports talk radio with O’s skipper Buck Showalter and Nats Manager Davey Johnson.

Tonight, be sure to join Alan Zlotorzynski and Stephen Shoup of Fanspeak.com (8:30 p.m. est.) for the MLB SHOW/ Orioles and Nationals Report, on the Fanspeak Radio Network.
Tonight, the guys begin the show with all of the news and notes from around the world of baseball. They will recap the second week of the season by telling you which teams are the biggest surprises and disappointments so far in the young campaign. The guys will introduce the new “Who’s Hot & Who’s Not” segment as they breakdown individual performances.
Alan and Steve will get you set for the week ahead with a preview of the top games and also peak in on early fantasy baseball returns as well.
Then it’s on to the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals. Alan will breakdown the Orioles week in review and Steve will do the same for the Nationals. The guys will have all of the stats and highlights from the past week as well as a preview of the week ahead.
It might be early but it is never too early to take the Yankees and Braves lightly and that is exactly, whom the O’s and Nats will square off against this weekend. The Orioles travel to the Bronx to play the Yankees while the Nats host the red-hot Braves, who are off the best start since 1994.
The guys will break down the pitching matchups in both series and tell you what you can expect to see.
The guys will close the show with the season’s first power poll. Alan and Steve will deliver the Fanspeak MLB Top 10 teams. They will also give you one last sneak listen to the trailer of 42, The Jackie Robinson Story, which opens in theatres tomorrow.

BALTIMORE SPORTS REPORT
Please join native Baltimorean Alan Zlotorzynski tonight for a one time ALL BALTIMORE SPORTS TALK SHOW, with some national sports news sprinkled on top.
With Alan’s partner Steve Shoup working on the FANSPEAK NFL DRAFT GUIDE, Alan flies solo tonight and will take the opportunity to get you caught up on the world of sports in the Charm city, as well as travel down the road of the NFL, MLB, NBA and the NHL.
He begins by telling you why the Miami Heat are now better off after losing for the first time in 27 games and why winning streaks mean nothing compared to titles. Alan will also give you his take on the Sweet 16 with some interesting tidbits you may not know about the remaining teams.
Alan then slips into NHL mode for a bit and discusses the Washington Capitals and why they need to set their sights on how to compete in the future-old Patrick Division. He will also tell you why the Pittsburgh Penguins aren’t going to win the Stanley Cup after loading up with players like Jerome Iginla.
Alan will break down the Orioles spring as well as preview the A.L East and give you his prediction if the Birds can repeat as a playoff team. Can “Dem O’s” take advantage of a depleted Yankees squad and semi-rebuilding Red Sox team. Alan has his thoughts.
Then its on the love our life, THE NFL. Alan will recap the Super Bowl Champions off-season and give you his opinion on what has occurred with the Baltimore Ravens in free agency. Are the Ravens better than they were on Feb 3, can they repeat, or will they slip after losing over half of the defense?
