The Capitol Hill National Caucus negotiation committee will discuss the effects of illegal immigration on the descendants of chattel slavery and Jim Crow survivors. Topics will be centered around the Civil Rights Acts of 1866 and the 14th Amendment. We will explore ways to alleviate this situation so that the quality of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is realized amongst Black Americans, a.k.a descendants of chattel slavery and Jim Crow survivors. Callers are welcomed to join in this controversial topic.

Machines Are People Too began as a two-piece project between friends in 2010. Shortly after, with the addition of three new members, word of their unique synth-pop sound spread fast. Shortly thereafter the band garnered numerous festival appearances including Bonnaroo, Summerfest, Hangout Fest, Nocturnal Wonderland and Lollapalooza.
Currently at Burning Bridge Recordings, Waterfall Wash is currently mixing songs off their forthcoming record, tentatively titled "Foreign Chords."
Ranch Ghost is an indie rock band from Nashville. Think Blind Willie McTell giving Ray Charles an Indian rug burn and The Kinks bleeding all over them. This should give you a good sense of what it’s like to hear Ranch Ghost.

From its opening in 1879, the Michigan State Capitol Building has served as the gateway to the Mid-Michigan region. Bolding standing in the heart of Lansing--Michigan's capitol city--the Capitol Building draws more than 100,000 visitors annually. We will tour the Capitol Building and hear stories of this remarkable historic structure with the Michigan Capitol's chief story teller, Matt Van Acker.

In light of the recent firestorm set off by the dismissal of Prof. Brendan Bain, former head of Caribbean HIV/AIDS Regional Training (CHART), the Yardie Skeptics team will be turning our attention to dissecting the contending issues at play. Was Prof. Bain unfairly dismissed as a result of his honest expert opinion, or did he engage in professional misconduct and rightly deserve the outcome? Do his supporters have a case for arguing a violation of free speech, or is this nothing more than the typical Christian buffoonery? Has UWI acted in defence of academic integrity, or buckled under the pressure of the global "Gaystapo?"
And, where is Prof. Bain in the maelstrom?
If you're a supporter of Prof. Brendan Bain, the Yardie Skeptics team wants to hear from you! Call in this Sunday, May 25th at 12:30pm EDT (11:30am Jamaica time) and share your views live on air during the broadcast. But be prepared for some strident push-back! This is a no-holds-barred discussion, not the "we can't offend our sponsors" style of media you might be familiar with. So you don't want to miss it!

Public vs Private
To All the Newly Awakened,
It has been said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. So the question is: What if your first step is in the wrong direction?
In 2009 I decided to walk to Washington DC in what I now jokingly refer to as a “one man march against tyranny.” Like most people, I believed all the answers to my questions were to be found somewhere in the “seat” of “our” government. What a wake-up call that was. I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of that god forsaken place called the District of Columbia. I’ve never seen so many homeless people or beggars in my life right there in the middle of the so-called Capitol of the wealthiest and most successful “country” on Earth. So what began as an innocent but angry walk of ignorant “patriotism” ultimately turned into a full-blown quest for the Truth behind a global tyranny.
My five-year journey has taken me from numerous patriot myths regarding the Constitution, Common Law, and the rather pedestrian 14th Amendment commercial “citizenship” to the spell-binding power and sorcery of the legal “terms” found within the pages of Black’s Law Dictionary. It has solidified hidden connections between the fictitious financial, religious, and scientific “worlds” or planes of existence and made very clear the “mitochondrial DNA” make-up of the so-called Matrix. I am no longer imprisoned by architectural or artificial constructs of time and space. I am no longer a “house divided” - separated as church/state, subject/matter, or spirit/body - from myself.
I now know the way home and it’s about time that everybody else in the World knows it too.
Born under communism in Cuba, Mellow Man Ace became his families’ ticket to freedom and passport to the United States. At that time in Cuba, having a child meant a family became eligible for an exit visa. “I was the third born and my number hit the lotto, although we didn’t get to leave until four years later due to politics. My family gives me the credit for being here enjoying our freedom in the U.S.” Upon arriving in America, the family was greeted in Miami, moved to New Jersey and ended up in South Gate, California on Cypress Avenue where it all began. Mellow Man first got into rap music in 1983 after hearing The Treacherous Three for the first time. When I first heard rap, I knew I had found my calling.” Writing as many rhymes as he could and cutting demos with his brother Sen Dog and B-Real, he still hadn’t found his exact niche within Hip-Hop. With a lot of persistence and hard work, he perfected his bilingual style. “I was ecstatic to realize I could fulfill my dreams and represent for my Latino people all in one!” Ulpiano Sergio Reyes (Mellow Man Ace) and older brother Senen Reyes (Sen Dog) formed a rap quartet DVX (Devastating Vocal Xcellence) with Lawrence Muggerud (DJ Muggs) and Louis Freese (B-Real). After a few years Mellow Man was signed by Delicious Vinyl and then Capitol Records to launch a solo career and sell over more than 2 million units worldwide.
