2014 is just about winding up. We often focus on what we haven’t done and then jump into either talking about it or quickly and half-heartedly starting to do “something” to show that we attempted to change/modify the goal. What we don’t consider though, is completely leaving some of these things BEHIND.

Come join us in this energetically charged conversation about simply refusing to bring that baggage that’s been holding us back , firmly planted in 2014… never to follow again.

What are some things you would do as you prepare for a journey? Most of us would pack supplies. Those preparing to hike in the mountains pack a backpack full of water, protein-enriched snacks, bandages, sunscreen, and emergency supplies. Those taking a trip to the spa pack comfortable clothes, books/magazines, sunglasses, makeup, and other essentials. Whatever our destinations, we pack up our suitcases, backpacks, and purses full of what we think we need.

We carry baggage on the path to our purpose, too. Let’s take a look into our suitcases and backpacks.

    Baggage with CCChicks

    in Comedy

1 screw driver, 3 pairs of headphones, 2 baby spoons, 3 pairs of baby socks, 1 large bouncy ball, a McDonald's yogurt granola packet, and more.  A LOT MORE.  Why is it all these things were in my purse??!

    Because I put them there.

And then I complain when the bag gets heavy.

    It's time to clean out.

Today, let's ask God to reveal to us the things that weigh us down so we can move forward with only the essentials.  His yoke is easy, and His burden is light, so it's time we let Him show us what needs to go.

    Follow our flight!
