So if Obama is considering a shakeup, why not finally add Jarrett—the lady of the lofty titles, enormous influence on her boss and few actual accomplishments that have helped the shaker-in-chief—to the mix? Well, we know it’s not going to be a traditional firing, and it’s probably too late to give her an ambassadorship. But if Jarrett’s not going anywhere, how to safely occupy her—and keep her out of the way—until she turns off the lights in the White House on January 20, 2017?Politico

My guest on Tuesday, November 11 is author Norma Sawyers-Kurz. We'll be chatting about her books, The Grieving Parents Book of Hope, Spiritual Answers for Perilious Times, A Personal Grief & A Reasonable Faith.
About the author:
Norma Sawyers-Kurz was born in Southwest Missouri, grew up on a dairy farm there, and attended a one-room country school, Union Grove, her first five years in school. Norma has written books for bereaved parents from the perspective of the personal experience of the loss of her daughter Karen in a tragic motorcycle/truck accident in 1982. She brings out an interesting point in her latest book, THE GRIEVING PARENT'S BOOK OF HOPE; after living through the worst ordeal a parent can experience, there sometimes evolves a sense of empowerment. She uses a quote from Harriet Schiff's book, THE BEREAVED PARENT, which adequately expresses this idea: "The fear of the unknown is behind us, for most of us, because we have already taken a long look at hell."
You can't choose who you fall in love with...All her life LaToya Morris wanted to get married, have lots of kids and take care of the household like her mother did. Raised in a Christian home in Texas she grew up in a different atmosphere, her father was a preacher and mother a high school teacher. When she moved to Charlotte, NC for college she never thought she'd fall in love with a hood guy like Montrell Johnson. He was everything her parent's warned her against growing up: long dreads, tattoos all over his body, and a rising coke boy in the streets of Charlotte. Yet Montrell opened LaToya's eyes to a different way of life, despite his lifestyle and their differences, and families trying to tear them apart they never separated. Now, five years later they got married and are expecting their first child, everything is going great until Montrell gets arrested and LaToya is alone and pregnant, nothing could prepare LaToya for the ride she is about to endure, Montrell hates he's put her in this situation because the streets have no conscience or love, and hope she's ready.
