    Management of Persistent Vaginitis

    in Health

Please join us for an indepth conversation with Dr. Paul Nyirjesy, Director of the Drexel Vaginitis Center about the management of persistent vaginitis.

"With vaginities remaining a common condition that leads women to seek care, it is not surpising that some women develope chronic vulvovaginal problems that are difficult to diagnose and treat.  With a differtential diagnosis that encompasses vulvar disorders and infectious and noninfectious casues of vaginities, accurate diagnosis is the cornerstone of choosing effective therapy."  Excerpt taken from Clinical Expert Series in the Obstetrics and Gyncology Journal VOL. 124, NO. 6, December 2014.  Page 1135

HELP! What To Do When You Have Anxiety, Depression or Bad Thoughts

    in Health

One of the big issues I constantly hear with people suffering with PFS is the terrible feeling that accompanies it.  So many are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression and even suicidal thinking.  What can you do about it when you are in those bouts of low level moods.

Find out how one person who has PFS is handling it.  I'll be sharing my stories, and how I have "coped" with some of the anxiety, panic attacks and low moments.

**PLEASE NOTE: This is not medical advice whatsoever! If you are having mental distress, please contact your medical doctor or please see a licensed therapist.

Post-finasteride syndrome is a devastating condition that afflicts men who’ve taken finasteride for hair loss (under the Propecia brand) or enlarged prostate (Proscar). Persistent symptoms include loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, panic attacks, Peyronie’s disease, penile shrinkage, gynecomastia, muscle atrophy, cognitive impairment, insomnia, severely dry skin, and tinnitus. Many victims suffer economic hardship due to job loss, and emotional distress due to the breakup of marriages and romantic relationships. PFS has also been linked to suicides. No one knows how many men are living with PFS, but experts estimate there are hundreds of thousands of cases worldwide. While there’s currently no cure for PFS, clinical research offers hope that effective treatments will be developed in the coming years. Until then, “PFS Global Support,” hosted by Amir Karkouti, is here to provide a weekly gathering place where victims and their loved ones can share information and offer mutual support.

  • Innovation: What is next in Technology

    in Business

Innovation as defined is a new idea or product.  Innovation is an important part of the lifecycle of our businesses. This new idea / product is how our businesses start full of excitement, enthusiasm and vigor. We build our business around this product and get heavily involved in the day to day. Often not having enough time to see the future of our business and continue fostering new ideas, the very new ideas that will keep us in business. If we are not proactive and continuing to bring new ideas and innovation we will find ourselves at the end of the lifecycle of our business. The best time to innovate is not when we are in atrophy with our business but when your business is thriving. You want to be the one to cannibalize your business not someone else.

Today we are going to talk about innovation and what is next in Technology

Dad Makes Wheel Chair Bound KIDS COOL for Halloween

    in Culture

Ryan Weimer is on a Mission and its to make sure that kids in Wheelchairs have an unforgettable experience at Halloween. His organization, Magic Wheelchair is a nonprofit that makes epic Halloween costumes for children in wheelchairs

I say EPIC, I mean EPIC!!! There will not be a kid big or small who will not be envious of the amazing, incredible, imaginative and spectacular costumes Ryan builds at  Magic Wheelchair, transforming wheelchairs into AWESOMNESS and at no expense to their families. The costumes are only limited by Imagination and we all know imaginations can be LIMITLESS, RIGHT?

Each year, children ( with their parents permission ) submit a one to 3 minute video explaining to the organization what they want to be for Halloween and why they should be chosen to receive a costume.

Out of all the submissions, five kids are chosen to receive an incredible costume that is guaranteed to put a smile on their face.

So, how did this come about? Ryan Weimer and his wife have five children, 2 of whom have SMA, Spinal Muscular Atrophy, making it impossible for them to walk. Sadly two others passed from this disease, however In 2008, when Ryan’s  eldest child Keaton received his first wheelchair, his father asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween? Keaton answered, "A Pirate"

This is where it all started. Like any parent Ryan wanted to please  his kids so he made an AMAZING Pirate ship. Ryan wanted his kids to be seen as superstars, not someone to be pitied.

EP: 33 The Danger with Saw Palmetto with My Guest James

    in Health

James  had PFS for over 10 years now. He got it by taking Saw Palmetto (another 5ar inhibitor).

For the first 4 or so years he did not even know he had PFS.  He just throught he had some weird form of asexuality and CFS or some chronic virus. Over the past few years he has made some pretty good improvements through self treatment.

He had previously spent over $20,000 of 10+ doctors and hundreds of medications. He currently has a girlfriend, yet still has major sexual issues, and absolutely ZERO libido. He also doesn't respond to androgens at all.

Listen here to find out more about his story.
