Over the past 7 days we have seen the opening of the NBA season, another week of NFL and the MLB season come to an end. After losing their first game, the Hawks have now won 3 in a row. What do you think? The Falcons lost at home. What do you think? The Kansas City Royals have been to back to back World Series and won it the second time. What do you think? We'll be discussing players, coaches and teams as a whole. Call in, Listen in.
The Atlanta Hawks have an issue with starting slow. Is it coaching? Is it the players? Both? Why isn't THJ playing at all? How many more games will the Hawks get beat because of lack of rebounding in key situations? Wild card teams behind the Falcons lost yesterday, but will Atlanta take advantage by beating the Colts? Coach Richt flew all the way to Oregon to prove a point, what was it? Is he doing too much? What happens if they lose to GS?????? These and other topics will be discussed tonight!! Tune in, Call in, Listen in!!!!!!! If you have a favorite team, feel free to call and talk about them.
Tonight we will talk about the week that was. The Atlanta Hawks are proving that 60 wins last year was not a fluke and that they are a force that continues to be ignored and they are still getting better. The Atlanta Falcons are making us worry that Matt might not be the guy anymore (mostly because of play calling, and for some reason Roddy White no longer exists), but mostly because we are losing to bad teams. UGA won, will they win out though??? These and other topics will be points of discussion. Call in!!! Listen in!!!
On this editon of the Sports Gal Pal Two-a-Day series, Ramona is joined by Next Fan Up's Atlanta Superfan Tim.
Tim doesn't dissapoint - giving strong opinions about the Falcons, divisional rivals, and the new coach.
New Coach: Dan Quinn is already making changes that are positive, in Tim's opinion. Uptempo practices with energy give new life to the potential of this team. The quarterback, Matt Ryan is still waiting for his true break out year. Wtih depth at the line and healthy receivers this could be a 5,000 yard season for Ryan.
Can't miss games - Tim stays within the NFC South. New Orleans Saints is the best rivarly and the fans never dissapoint. Carolina Panthers will also be tough - with Cam Newtown leading. Tim also gives his opinion about Tampa Bay Buccaneers' rookie quarterback Jameis Winston.
Don't miss any of the other two-a-day series. And for full show notes visit SportsGalPal.com

No, the Atlanta Hawks were not going to win 60 games back to back. But they should still win 50 plus right? Does it seem like that will happen? There are stretche where the Hawks look dominate, then New York happened Sunday. What happens from Tuesday where they came all the way back to Sunday where they flirt with looking like it doesn't matter if they win or lose? Besides Kyle's slump, and teams locking him down, what else is hindering the team from being ultra successful, where again, the East is up for grabs. Are we giving up too many losses for sake of trial and error? Or, does it matter at all and as long as we get into playoffs..............Much easier to get through rounds battling weaker teams than starting off with the most difficult team, unless you're ready to beat the Cavs. Right now, Hawks stand to finish in the top three at minimum. But the inconsistent play can easily have them in the bottom half of 8 teams.
The Falcons finish season at 8-8. Are you happy with that? What do you think wil happen to the players that have crazy salaries and did virtually nothing to help the team this year? Will we be a player in free agency? What will happen in the draft? 2017 is here. Some of the topics for tonight. Tune in, listen in, call in.
