Special Guest Samantha Hawes - SyFy's Ghost Hunters
Biography Courtesy of Syfy.Com
When it comes to paranormal investigating, Samantha believes it's just part of her genetic makeup. Her earliest memories of the field include listening in at just four years old while her father and Co-Founder of TAPS, Jason Hawes, planned his weekend trips. While she has been investigating with her father for the last 10 years, she says that one of her most memorable experiences would be leading Blue Oyster Cult through an investigation at the Belleview-Biltmore in Belleaire, FL. Having had numerous paranormal experiences she can still say the one that sticks with her the most involves an entity that mimicked her father after he had been investigating in a location the night prior to her investigation. He was nowhere near the location of Samantha's investigation when it took place and was actually sick in bed.
Join program co-chair Marian Pierre-Louis live from the New England Regional Genealogical Conference in Providence, RI as she talks about the highlights of the conference. Who spoke? What were the most popular topics to be presented? How does the conference get put together? What's in store for us in two years?

MATT AND JOHN PRESENT RICK MCCALLUM FROM HOLLYWOOD GHOSTHUNTERS
Rick’s first movie was Lone Wolf McQuade, a Chuck Norris movie that was filmed in El Paso.
While filming a movie at Mansfield prison in Ohio, a very haunted place, Rick and Kane were walking through the back cells of the prison when they saw the shadow of a man cross in front of them about 30 yards ahead ..Kane took off after it, but it vanished..Now Rick had been ghost hunting since living in a very haunted house in Texas in 1979, and Kane had ghost hunted around the island where he grew up, and neither one knew the other was interested in ghosts..that night the Hollywood Ghost Hunters was formed, along with several other people in the horror movies, includind R A Mihailoff, who played Leatherface in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3..
The Hollywood Ghost Hunters were featured on the hit TV show Ghost Adventures, and became good friends with Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin, all who are the real deal when it comes to both ghost hunting and being good guys, and we hope to hunt with them again, it was a heckuva good time..
Rick McCallum is known for his work on J. Edgar (2011), The Devil’s Rejects (2005) and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult (1994).
Think Regional!, was initiated in 2006 through the efforts of small business program directors for Southwest Ohio Leadership Council. The second annual conference is being held on April 16th in Cincinnati.
One of the issues to be discussed is how agencies can collaborate in their efforts to support small, minority, and women owned businesses.
Cheryl El-Alfi is leading a round table panel discussion on Entrepreneurial and Small Business Support. Her Issue Action Group is coming together for the first time to collaborate on their support for small business. The panel members are from SBA, SBDC, OMSDC, ORVWBC, SCORE, and Huntington Bank, who is the #1 small business lender.
Please join us as we share what participants can expect for this ground breaking initiative.
