Angell Conwell began modeling at a young age, winning multiple beauty pageants in her home state of South Carolina. By her late teens, she had landed recurring roles on many hit series, including "3rd Rock From the Sun," "NYPD Blue," and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," to name a few. She then began appearing in feature films, before landing a starring role on the #1 daytime drama, "The Young & the Restless." She continues to work in film and television, and in 2013, was nominated for an NAACP award for outstanding lead actress in a a daytime drama.
Conwell was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina and moved to Columbia, South Carolina at the age of 2. She attended Seven Oaks Elementary School in Columbia where she was the first African-American student body president. In December 2010, Conwell began airing in the recurring role of attorney Leslie Michaelson on the number-one-rated CBS daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. In December 2012, she was placed on contract. Her character has quickly become a fan-favorite and her story-line is among the most exciting on the show.
Angell Conwell, star of CBS show The Young & the Restless is all set to find out more about her world, and is embracing life more than ever before since turning 30 last year. "You've experienced a lot [at age 30] but there's still so many things to discover."
One thing she is hoping for are some interesting storylines for her character Leslie Michaelson, and in true soap form she doesn't mind if things get tough. "You've got to handle the scandal," she tells the guys at NeRD Media.

Kathy Keller serves as assistant director of communications for Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City. She is the author of Jesus, Justice, and Gender Roles: A Case for Gender Roles in Ministry and co-author with her husband Tim, of The Meaning of Marriage: Facing the Complexities of Commitment with the Wisdom of God.
Timothy Keller started Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City with his wife, Kathy, and their three sons. Today, Redeemer has more than five thousand regular Sunday attendees. Dr. Keller also founded Redeemer City to City, which has trained leaders to start more than three hundred new churches in nearly fifty cities around the world. He is the author of Prayer, Preaching, The Prodigal God, and The Reason for God, among others.
Kathy Keller received her MA in theological studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Kathy and Tim then moved to Virginia, where Tim started at his first church, West Hopewell Presbyterian Church. After nine years, Kathy and her family moved to New York City to start the Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
