As much as we hate Warhol he did sign his name to some good products. This week we discuss Paul Morrissey's Flesh for Frankenstein (aka Andy Warhol's Frankenstein). Disregard the thick German and misplaced Brooklyn accents and enjoy our inane babble about this nortious Video Nasty
This installment of The Forbidden Fruit will discuss the world problem of single use plastics with Bag Monster Andy Keller.
In 2004, Andy Keller, now ChicoBag president, took a trip to his local landfill after spending the day landscaping his backyard. He was horrified by what he saw. Single-use bags were visually the dominant article at the landfill that day, blanketing the landscape in a thin mix of white and beige plastic. On his way home he began to notice plastic bags everywhere, caught in trees and on fence posts, half drowned in gutter puddles and blowing in the streets like urban tumbleweeds.
That day Andy vowed to stop using single-use bags. Inspired, Andy dropped a few bucks on a second hand sewing machine and began sewing what would ultimately become the first ChicoBag® brand reusable bag.
We won't to shed as much light on this cause as possible. We're talking plastics here on The Fruit today. Join us!

Today's show is a talk given by Andy Stanley (http://northpoint.org/). He is the son of Pastor Charles Stanley. Andy's style has opened my eyes so many times to look at things differently. Today's show is no exception. "Make your Minutes Count" is about prayer.
When was the last time you heard someone teach a lesson on how to pray, why we should pray and so much more information that could get you to look at prayer in a whole new way.
Prayer is a "two way street." Listen to Andy's words and consider putting into practice some or all of what he shares in his talk.
ANDY THOMAS is one of the world’s leading authors and lecturers on unexplained mysteries and global cover-ups. He has written many books, including ‘The Truth Agenda’, just published in a new US edition, ‘Conspiracies’ and the crop circle guide ‘Vital Signs’ (nominated for Kindred Spirit magazine’s Best Book award). Andy lectures in many different countries and he has made numerous radio and television appearances around the world, including programs for the BBC, NBC, The History Channel and The National Geographic Channel, and he regularly writes for Nexus Magazine.
I'll be asking Andy....
1 – What is Andy’s background in investigating mysteries and cover-ups?
2 - What is ‘The Truth Agenda’ book about?
3 – What are the many different mysteries and conspiracies covered in the book?
4 – Which subjects (these include 9/11, the Moon landings, the New World Order, UFOs, crop circles, pyramids, religious apparitions and other classic areas) are given most prominence, and why?
5 – What solutions does the book offer to some of the current issues of surveillance and control agendas?
6 – What is the collective consciousness process discussed in the book, and what hope can this offer the world?
7 – How should truthseekers respond to many of the big events going on in the world at this moment?
8 – How have the recent global events been used to justify creating even LESS freedom of speech, rather than more, and what is the significance of this?
9 – How can we all balance such things and live positively and with optimism in these times?
10 – How can reading ‘The Truth Agenda’ and other truthseeking books help give context and hope?
